Dendrobium abberans (x something I don't remember bc I lost the tag)

Got this guy a few months back in bud from JL. It's still in flower although they're fading now, and has three new growths. Is fragrant but only in early afternoon. Smells like... Some kinda cleaning solution? Not terrible. I'll sniff it once in a while but I'm not itching to sniff it.

Well, that interrogation wasn't very productive. Oh well. At least I managed to lay a little groundwork in being able to communicate with the prisoner. Could have gone worse, I guess.

If the Aberrans don't send over any official ambassadors, I would like to suggest that Caramel becomes a representative. I mean, for Khepri's group to them, not the other way around. A Changeling from their own clan might convince at least a couple of them to convert to the side of peace and harmony.

No, I mean... It seems like a growing trend among changelings is to not do well when it comes to matters of a clandestine nature. See: the canter lot invasion, the ENTIRETY of clan abberans, Cancer not being able to detect Vinylbot sneaking up on her, etc.

Cancer: Actually, as far as I can see the Canterlot Invasion, whilst an incredibly dumb idea, was completely successful until the defenders cast this one spell that chucked an entire army halfway across the continent.

The Abberans... Well, they are idiots. Clan Ostracoda certainly doesn't want to see a second attempt at integration go wrong on our watch. That said, they aren't failing to pull off sneaky stuff. Their failures are in completely different areas.

And you can shut the crick up about the ninja robot, I was browsing the internet. My attention was elsewhere and it's not a big deal I got a little startled.

So, apparently a Aberrans sleeper agent literally just woke up and is interfering with BonBon's attempts to help her friends. Any ideas guys?

Um, isn't altering everybody's perception of you and your actions mind magic? It's magic, it messes with people's minds...

More of an emotional effect, actually.

From examining Caramel, it's become apparent that the Abberans constantly, even subconsciously, drain the suspicion from those around them. Almost like an extreme adaptation of the basic ability to feed that we all have.

Caramel will certainly be better than you at mind magic, given his clan's specialty. And he can probably stay in disguise longer, given his origins.

Mind magic is my Clan's speciality!

The only thing Abberans are better at is being boring! 

That is literally their Clan's special ability! Making themselves look less interesting!

and even if we do accept that Clan Abberans qualifies for standing as a state, I would propose that any Head of State that engaged in a program kidnapping and enslaving children from neighboring states and refusing diplomatic contact (and they are refusing what with not even offering a place for ponies to send ambassadors) than attacks directed at that head of state would be the expected response, or possibly a show of restraint, as compared to other proportionate responses

It's an incorrect approach which does absolutely nothing to address the issue at hand.

Clan Abberans had been replacing children. That is what needs to stop, and even a successful decapitation strike would only anger them, make them less likely to listen in future and result in the appointment of a new Clan head.

I honestly have no idea where Blueblood is going with this, unless his plan is to keep attacking the highest ranking member until the entire Clan is exterminated.
