After many years of being broken, I've finally gotten my superstrat repaired and fully functional. I still want to replace the pickups and add a couple more gizmos, plus give it a new coat of paint, but at least now it works again. I had this thing built nearly twenty years ago, but I've never had enough money to finish it to my liking.
See, what happened was that the Eric Clapton midrange booster thingy broke, and I couldn't afford to replace it until now (with the generous funding of my dad as a Christmas present). It also didn't help that the 9-volt battery inside died, and I didn't realize it.
