Good evening Doctor,

You are a man of learning with no need for euphemistic language or beating around the bush, so I will be blunt: I intend to conduct various experiments of massage therapy to the prostate and prostatic plexus to observe the effects it has on the body. With the many nerves present and status as a gland, it is possible that the stimulation of the prostate would have similar effects on the male body as to stimulating the female anterior vaginal wall behind the clitoris.

From your own previous presentation of female pleasure response, I am sure you would appreciate this opportunity to compare the effects.

Unfortunately, I myself do not have a prostate, (in-built, or in a jar) and therefore cannot conduct this experiment myself.

So, would you be willing to be the main test subject and co-author? You would receive full credit as such if you so desire, your role as patient can be anonymized, but I believe your name would add credibility to the testimonies.

Again, you are a man of science, so you could describe and document the various stages of the process first-hand and I would be present to make administer the various stimulation tests, document, and observe your symptoms.

My theory is that these various massages could lead to a treatment for prostatitis, as well as help us better understand the nervous system, and further document the similarities and differences between the physiology of male and female bodied patients.

That includes any loose threads, long unexplained disappearances… I think you understand what I’m asking, baron.”

Hello Baron, I‘m back.

I’ve been meaning to ask if you have any particular academic or recreational interests outside of your practice.

I know in your opinion, a minute not spent on your work is a minute wasted (been there) . But I have been told it is beneficial to one’s thought process to focus on something different temporarily, to clear the mind.

There are several subjects which can pertain to your experiments, but have the potential to branch out for pleasure. Botany, phytotoxicology, drawing…

You’ve mentioned more occult inspirations which can be quantified scientifically to help your work, does alchemy hold any interest to you?

Could be fun to give some of those a try or hear your opinions.

“Time spent outside my work is wasted time indeed. I have no other hobbies that do not concern my labour, for it is my relaxation and my relief. Fulfillment of life, even. It is the only and one thing I have done as far as memory permits, and it leads me onward. Yet I must confess, I quite enjoy evening walks, as it refreshes both my spirits and my physique, inspires me to strive with greater intensity the next day.

I may say, alchemy is an interesting subject, yet, I do not exhaust myself with such outdated nonsense. Chemistry exists for a reason. My mind is wholly dedicated to medicine, and medicine only, and if chemistry aids me in medicine, then yes, it interests me; nevertheless, I would much rather dedicate my evening to reading articles of recent findings than those of the past. Everything that could serve a purpose for the future I value greatly, and I deem it as a beneficial way to spend my hours of leisure.”
