IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Like, wow. I definitely teared up a bit though I'm embarrassed to admit it, haha.
The girl in my PE class who was in it has a really pretty voice! I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't quite that good, haha.
The girl whose voice I used to not like has a positively beautiful voice now, and she seems to have mellowed out as a person too, which is always nice.
The guy whose voice I used to kind of like has a really nice voice now! Before, to me, it seemed almost forced, and now it's a nice, full, tenor. (And he's good at intonation which just makes it better.) I told him he did a good job, and he was like "See, it's not so bad." (referencing the religious stuff I assume) I thought it was funny. He's a good kid.
AND THEN THERE WAS RICHARD. Good old Richard. Ohmygoodness. Your voice has matured so much over the years, and so have you. You command the stage and it's hard to not focus on you. They definitely made the right choice when they chose you to be Jesus. Even without super special effects, I was convinced that you were dying. Even without a closeup on your face or fake tears, I was convinced that you were distraught at the betrayal. Allow me to say again to you what I said when I came to say hi to you after your performance: You are a Jesus I could follow.
