Update on torn abdominal muscle
The good news is that it's not a full tear but the bad news is that it will not heal right on it's own. I have a few small tears, micro tears that can be treated with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy.) This is where they take my blood and separate it and then inject it into the tears in my abdomen and this triggers my body to heal the areas the platelets are. Should take a about six weeks to see how things are going.
Beyond the tear, there are other things going on. The Psoas Major is the muscle that runs up and down the leg and affects the Rectus Femoris that causes my pain to walk after I aggravate my lower abdominal. Well the connecting tissue that connects the muscle to the bone (hip) is pulling on the bone and causing it to inflame and thus causing more issues. Thus I have to make sure I control this strain as well.
I hope after all this, I'll be able to run again and still get back on track for under a 3 hour marathon.

I guess I'll have some rehab after this. This seems like a good link for now with some things that can be done. http://www.proamsportsinjury.co.uk/adductor%20injury.htm
