This plan is foolproof.
Except for the fact that Abe doesn't have ears or a nose. And that he is green, seven feet tall, and covered in scales and fins and clearly recognizable markings.

Abe can't make out with anyone anymore
He doesn't really have lips and his teeth are way too sharp
Also, body image issues

I like your title for him ‘Disappointed Satan Man’
Someone else dubbed him that, actually, maybe in their liveblog of #1? I can't remember. It's a good name.
#I know I just have a love of monster people in general but he really is just weird precious now
"Weird precious"... that's exactly it. That's exactly how I feel about him.
#And at the same time just really damn interesting and cool as upsetting as it is for him #It makes me feel bad I love him this way when he's so unhappy 8(
This too. We're probably bad people.

wouldn’t his clothes get all damp and stick if he was slimy though? doesn’t the fact that he has pants/slept in a bed support the non-slimy theory?
Maaaybe... Though he's been out of water for at least three days now. If he was slimy, he's probably dried out by now, so no... slime... patches... (ew)
I'm biased, the frogs I work with are completely aquatic and live in tanks of water and are very slimy. And my rule of thumb for Abe is that whatever situation is least comfortable or convenient is probably the situation he'll have to deal with, given his luck.
I'm going to keep my headcanon that his skin feels cool and almost wet but it isn't really wet (kind of like a gecko's belly) until the comic says otherwise. Shedding slime onto every surface he touches would just be adding insult to injury for him at this point.

Nope NOpe noPE (I hate slimy things so pleeease nooooo)

YES, GOOD! >:}
It seems we have a disagreement... I guess it couldn't hurt for everyone to have an individual headcanon for his sliminess/non-sliminess to fit their own comfort level
Until actual canon evidence of his sliminess/non-sliminess surfaces
Even Mignola can't decide if he's evolving or devolving
