@theirmadness: "You’re trying a little too hard to make me uncomfortable, Abel."
"Doctor Bloom," how he loves saying her name. Bloom, first name Doctor, middle name Always In, "oh, I assure you, that wasn't my intention."
Whether he means becoming a try-hard at his favorite sport or making her—uncomfortable, did she say?—it's difficult to say. He just knows they've been doing terrific work of up-titrating his Olanzapine.
@hypocratic *
"Terribly sorry, Doctor Chilton"—are you, aren’t you—"but I don’t read much these days. Would you mind spelling that?"

where. christmas markets who. @abelczarlinski
It certainly felt strange, to visit the annual markets with so much heaviness that still hung within the air. Riley was caught in an uncertain mindset, for while she wanted to enjoy what the selfless sacrifices had brought them; she also felt unwarranted of such a thing. As if a sense of mourning should have still held the city in its grasp. Lips rolled together as her gaze slipped over the crowd, until it settled upon Abel. The stars spoke of so much potential for him, of what he may bring to the witches and the city; Riley only hoped that he saw the same in himself. "Does this feel as strange to you as it does to me?"
starter for @abel--evans !!
He'd seen Kaiko in the aftermath; he'd heard the screams, the gunshots, and the fighting. The attack had been successful, but not without losses. As much as Ashton had wanted to get involved in the attack on the tower, he hadn't -- too anxious about getting caught. But some part of Ashton knew Abel would get involved, even if they both knew he wasn't a fighter. Something about Abel's fearless nature drew Ash closer to him, but that same nature was also a point of frustration from time to time.
He didn't expect to open his door to see Abel slouched against the hallway wall, holding his bleeding temple...concussed? "Christ, Abe," Ash launched forward to support him, helping Abel lean on him while he moved him to the couch. "Hey, hey... what happened?" He tried to speak softly, but his words were riddled with worry. His eyebrows knitted as he moved a hand up his cheek to cup his face. With his other hand, he gathered a few pillows near the end of the couch while he listened.
