My Seat: 11A (window, left side, one row behind the exit row).
Interior: Standard OEM interior for the A320 family built 2007 and on. Features pink and purple mood lighting throughout the cabin.
Sidewalls: Updated 2007 design without contours around the windows. This design is characterized by large window reveals and recessed cove lighting located above in a separate panel. These sidewalls were decorated with small gray/tope squares against a light gray/white background.
Seating & Upholstery: Duel-class service consisting of a First Class and Main Cabin. Seat 11A was in Main Cabin Select. All seats in the Main Cabin are upholstered in black leather with glossy white plastic on the back side of the seat. Each of these seats are equipped with Panasonic Avionics’ personal inflight entertainment systems. Each seat also has inflight entertainment controls in the armrests. The seats in Main Cabin Select have a 38 inch (970 mm) seat pitch, and are 17.7 inches (450 mm) wide. Seats in Main Cabin offer 32 inches (810 mm) of pitch, and are 17.7 inches (450 mm) wide. All seats in the Main Cabin have power-ports and adjustable headrests.
First Class seats are upholstered in white leather with black armrests that have inflight entertainment screens that fold out of them. Inflight entertainment controls are also located in the armrests. Passengers in first class are also provided with adjustable reading lights that are connected to the seats. First Class seats offer 55 inches (1,400 mm) of pitch, and are 21 inches (530 mm) wide.
Inflight Entertainment: Panasonic Avionics’ personal inflight entertainment systems running Virgin’s customized touch-screen GUI called, “Red”. Red 2.0 features a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music, games, messaging, shopping, inflight navigation, meal, and snack options.
Snacks & Meals: There were a variety of beverage, snack, and meal choices available during the flight. Beverages included: water, juice, coffee, tea, soda, diet soda, sparkling water, ginger ale, red and white wine, hard alcohol, and beer. From the variety of snacks and meals, I chose to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which came with Annie’s Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks.
