They were one of the earliest pairs to present 'yugal-gaayaki' (vocal rendition in tandem by two or more artists) on the modern concert stage & they were indeed a class by themselves. Sadly, very few of their recordings are available for music-lovers today. Abhogi-Kanada is one of their more popular renditions embellished with quick-silver taan-patterns & somewhat aggressive presentation of this otherwise introvert raag-matrix.
