I’ve been wanting to try a couple of recipes with halloumi recently, and have so far failed to find it in 2 different big stores, it’s so annoying!
Wow really? I don't think it's hard to find in grocery stores here, or at least I've never not been able to find it when I looked, but it doesn't seem commonly known/used and I don't see it on menus or in dishes other people make etc very often as compared to the UK (for example). I dunno why! It's great! We love salt and cheese!

Oh man, I had a few good ones on Spotify, but my account was mysteriously terminated, so... those don’t exist anymore...
Either way... someone made loads of “80s Alternative New Wave” mixtapes on YT, so that’s something I listen to on a regular basis.
Other good mixes are the New Retro Wave and Synthwave ones
3. your favourite “grounding” activity (anything that involves using the hands/doesn’t involve “spacing out” or escapism - something like gardening, knitting, dancing, cooking)
Cooking and baking is always fun. In the weekends I tend to make recipes that take a long time to cook, so that’s half a day gone then ;)
And I started doing some lino cutting and printing last year. It’s painstaking work, especially since I’m working with cheap materials for now (the carving tools aren’t as sharp - bad for the lino, but good for my fingers), but fun and quite rewarding if you get everything to work.

These were my first linocut attempts last year (haven’t done too many in the meanwhile...), and was quite happy with those ;)

Answered here, but Dutch-style pancakes are a good alternative:
Milk, flour + 1 egg, no given quantities, just mix until you have the right consistency (though it should be a bit runnier than American pancake batter)
For a vegan version: use soy milk (or other plant-based) instead of regular milk, replace the egg with baking powder and a dash of oil, and add some vanilla sugar and cinnamon. (these are actually really nice, especially if you eat them with nutella/chocolate spread ;) )
The Brontes: Wild Genius on the Moors by Juliet Barker is a wonderful cold-weather tome! Also, The Worst Journey in the World by Apsley Cherry-Garrard!
The first sounds interesting! Barker does such interesting work on the English Romantics. I’m suspicious of her positioning herself as an expert on the Middle Ages as well, but of course that doesn’t invalidate her work on the Brontës.
I would read the second book for the author’s name alone.

A lot. I like everything from guns n roses to the pretty reckless to moose blood to avenged sevenfold to system of a down to Kesha. And Johnny Cash, but that's where I draw the line.
aughh, I saw that Rebecca casting article you reblogged, and I'm so disappointed! It's one of my favorite novels, and I've been saying someone should do another adaptation for AGES, but what boring uninspired casting! I'm so tired of the same popular actors being cast over and over again in lead roles, no matter whether they fit or not.

ahhh that’s a hard one. there’s plenty of episodes/serials that i found very unmemorable, but don’t really hate. and there are others that were more interesting/technically ok, but that really bothered me on, like, an ethics level haha. off the top of my head i’ll say the crimson horror, because i find it both very unmemorable and it had the big huge strike against it of having the doctor aggressively kiss a lesbian without her consent for laughs, which…urgh.
