Kaitlyn and Abi’s friendship is one of my favorite “shown but not said” parts of the quarry. Kaitlyn happily saying “Abi! :D!” At the campfire. Kaitlyn saying Abi is cute and wanting to “keep her in her pocket for a pick me up” (because Abi makes her happy). Kaitlyn wanting to push Abi to go after her crush. Kaitlyn rushing to help Abi after the attack, staying with her, comforting her, trying to ground her by getting her to draw. Kaitlyn speaking up for Abi when Nick was getting intense. Kaitlyn screaming no when Abi dies, then sitting over her dead body clearly struck by shock / grief. If Abi lives, Abi wanting to do whatever she can to help Kaitlyn, and saving her life by giving her silver shells. Kaitlyn clearly cares for Abi which i love so much <3
