I fell yesterday, slipped on my front, stone walkway, doing an awkward sort of front splits.
It hurt at the time, but mostly my knee that I landed on, scraping the skin from, along with the hand that hit ground.
I've been discovering, over the 2 years since my ABI (aquired brain injury) that it takes very little to bring on a headache that more often than not becomes a migraine, but the pain in my legs, arms, neck and shoulders is excruciating.
And yesterday, it felt like just a small fall, nothing more than a couple scrapes.
And then today, I wake up and can hardly walk, hardly move, without pain EVERYWHERE.
It's another thing to add to my list of New Realities', small stuff is no longer small. Every little bump, bang or slip can put you out of commission for more than a few days...
Lots of Peppermint oil for this girl tonight
