What is the Raven Cycle about?

i…………………..am really bad at summaries??? i can try and quickly tell you what happens at the beginning of the first book which will hopefully be enough to draw you in so you can see what the books are really about for yourself!!!

so uhhh blue is the protagonist and she’s the daughter of a psychic and lives in a house full of amazing psychic women except she doesn’t have that gift. her gift is that she amplifies her mother’s and her friend’s powers. basically when they need to focus blue’s energy helps. AND THEN for the first time in her life on the evening when the soon-to-be-dead people show themselves and the psychics can see them and guide them or w/e she sees her first ghost and the boy’s name is gansey and he is one of the boys from her town’s super duper posh school where all the stuck-up annoying rick kids go. except as fate would have it blue soon meets 4 boys from that school ~the raven boys~ as they’re called and one of them is surprise gansey the boy who’s gonna be dead within the next year. AND SHIT STARTS HAPPENING AND SUDDENLY ADAM, GANSEY, RONAN, NOAH AND BLUE KEEP SPENDING ALL THEIR TIME TOGETHER AND IT’S BEAUTIFUL AND TERRIBLE AND HEARTBREAKING AND YOU START CARING WITHIN THE FIRST LIKE 50 PAGES G UARANTEED AND THERE ARE LITERALLY A BILLION DYNAMICS THAT WILL MAKE YOU WANNA LIE DOWN IN FRONT OF AN INCOMING STAMPEDE the boys have that marauders quality about them everything is polyamorous and emotional and one more thing - all her life blue’s been warned that she will cause her true love to die if she ever kissed them soooo as she starts falling for i’m-not-gonna-tell-you-who she knows she can never kiss him for fear that she might be the cause of his death the end except this is only the beginning read the series good luck

how come you don't watch htgawm anymore? I keep meaning to watch it but haven't gotten round to it yet.

i don't really know, i just kinda lost interest pretty fast so i organically stopped watching it, by which i mean it wasn't a conscious decision it just happened. i fall behind on most of my shows pretty quickly; some of them i catch up on, some of them stay in the past. i haven't given up on it 100% it's just that i don't have any motivation to watch it i guess.
