of course we support gay people!! I can’t speak for the other mods, but I (mod sky) am non binary and queer, so it’d be pretty hypocritical of me to not support other people in the lgbt+ community. 💕
As for the amount of hate on our blog, I’m not clear on if you’re referring to our content, or the people responding to it.
Our blog is purely satirical, and is usually people venting about their own personal experiences.As for the replies, the majority of the negative reactions I’ve seen were from people who misunderstood our blog’s purpose, and thought we were sharing real feelings that we held. I feel bad about these bc I hate upsetting other people, but at this point I’m not really sure how to fix this. (if any followers read this, send me an ask if you have any ideas bc this is a serious issue we want to address.)
As a side tangent, while I’m writing stuff, here’s some info about the blog’s temporary hiatus:
I’ve been away from home for a few weeks, and will continue to have no access to my computer until a few days after Christmas. No new asks have been posted because mobile: a) won’t let me put asks in a queue, and b) won’t let me tags asks before I post them. The second one is much more of an issue for me, because sometimes they won’t let me save tag changes after I post them, and I refuse to run the risk of triggering people because tags won’t stick.
I’m the one that usually tags and adds things to the queue, so it may be a bit before we can be consistently active again. On the bright side, once I get back to my computer there’ll be plenty of posts in the queue! :) — Mod Sky
