Valentines Attempt

Axel was rushing.

He had barely had time to change into his other suit at work, no blazer, simply a waistjacket. He was late as it was, and getting up the tower was hard work after a long absence of his morning jogs and lots of overtime.

"Right then..." Sitting himself down, he opened the basket he'd brought up with him, containing a small freezer box with bars of ice cream inside. He'd also snuck in a few of the cookies that Roxas had made the night before, not having had time to make anything when he'd nipped home at lunch while Roxas was at work and the kids were at the babysitter's.

He idly ran his fingers over the blanket he'd set out on the ground, before his sights were set on the forever setting sun- Roxas would be here soon. And all he had to give were cookies and ice cream.
