I actively filter out any Destiel fic with "wing kink" or "wing oil as lube" sometimes even "wing grooming" I barely read those really descriptive scenes with human fluids, and the thing with the oil makes me gag just to imagine it. Maybe that's why I usually also avoid ABO fics unless they're really good.

I can't with the imaginary smell that comes into my mind when I read that.

Does anyone else have this issue?

"That won't be necessary."

Following his gaze you double your efforts to cover yourself when you see Steve filling the doorway, staring at both of you with a glint of his eyes. You freeze when Bucky lets out a low warning rumble, "Omega."

"Why is he here?" You gasp, trembling under their predatory gazes.

Bucky chuckles, his pupils blown wide as he glances between you. "Because... Tonight wasn't just about punishing you for being such a tease. It's about making some new rules." Your eyes widen as your eyes dart from one Alpha to the other.

"What new rules?" You whisper, unsure.

"It's no secret you want Steve, sweetheart," Bucky states as you blush and avert your gaze from his intense eyes. You're ashamed of yourself; what kind of omega wants another alpha?

"There's nothing to be embarrassed about omega," Bucky murmurs, tilting your chin up and forcing you to meet his stare. "I'm not mad at you. Neither is Steve."

You glance uncertainly between them again. "You aren't?" you ask sheepishly.

"Not at all darlin," Steve drawls, settling onto the far end of the bed, his large frame consuming the space and making you feel much smaller. "In fact, we've come to an agreement," he says, eyes meeting Buckys.

"What is it?" You ask, a shiver of excitement and curiosity running through you. "You're going to have two Alpha's," Bucky states simply as if it's the most natural thing in the world. Your shock is written on your face because Steve's expression softens and Bucky presses a reassuring kiss to the top of your head.

"Don't worry, omega. We'll take good care of you."

i think i’ve read this like a dozen times and it’s still. so. good. probably the first pirate fic i read and i love it so much! the dynamic between them is awesome to read.

hi! I just read this one shot fic where harry and Louis both present as alphas but harry identifies more as an omega and wants to be with Louis, do you know of anymore fics like that?

Oh, I love ABO fics when the trope is turned on its head like that. I don’t think I’ve read any others that have that exact set up, but here are all the ones I’ve liked that fit that GayBO concept and a few that have gender discussions as well.

gold-skinned, eager baby by StarryDay13 / @daydreaming-sunflower (E, 17K) This was soft and tender and sexy and beautifully done. There were wonderful moments of gentleness and vulnerability as Harry awkwardly expresses his thoughts about his gender and his feelings for Louis, and as Louis reasons and holds space for who Harry is. I really just loved this one. And I cried. So that’s a bonus. 😆 (soft subby Alpha/dom Omega)

Single Bells Ring by nonsensedarling / @absoloutenonsense (M, 17K) This was so much fun and the banter was absolutely brilliant. I loved their back and forth and how Harry kept Louis on the edge, never being 100% sure Harry was into him, until the very end. (Alpha/Alpha)

Amor Victorious by HappyPrince (E, 39K) I’m in love with the way this author uses language. It’s just so beautifully written. I also loved the way they incorporated discussion of gender and sexualities without having it feel heavy handed or distracting. If you have difficulty with internalized homophobia, read the tags, but I thought it was handled well. Bonus points for gender fluid Harry!

Only One at the Finish Line by objectlesson (E, 9K) I’m a big fan of the flipped ABO trope with an Alpha/Alpha storyline. This one is done very nicely, with high school best friends and a very moving confession full of raw emotion (and giving in to “forbidden” attraction). This fic has been deleted, the link is to a download.

do you know me by heart by HappyPrincess / @pattern-pals (E, 7K) Read the tags on this one because it’s really visceral, raw, and real. The writing was intense in the best of ways, but this is not a fluffy fic. Omega Harry/Omega trans male Louis

i cannot reach your heart by HappyPrincess / @pattern-pals (E, 10K) This is the second part to the one just above and it’s equally as well written, and has just a hint more happiness for these characters.

Constant Debauchery by Blake (E, 19K) Yes, yes, I know. I’ve probably recommended this 100 times. But have you read it yet? Anyway…Edwardian setting, uni ABO (Alpha/Alpha) fic. Gorgeous mood setting, I’ve said before that it reads like a Merchant Ivory film looks…just gorgeous. There’s a similar sense of repression and uncertainty about flouting societal expectations, and a character who appears one way on the surface, but underneath is quite different. I love this one, I’ve read it a number of times.

Alpha Seeking Alpha by @jaerie (E, 4K) I love when ABO fics are turned on their head and this one has Alpha Louis using a dating app to find someone whose kinks match his. It’s hot and sexy and I wish it was more than just a one shot!

violence of my own touch by 25postcards (14hrflight) (E, 5K) I just found this fic today, actually, and was so moved by the way this author portrayed both Harry and Louis — the exhaustion, the confusion, the sadness, but also the deep love and need for each other. Alpha/Alpha.
