From one artist to another, and I've seen plenty of art, trust me. (This isn't a brag, I'm being serious. HAHA.) I think you're doing good with your art, especially at your age. Your style is uniquely yours, the anatomy is great for the style, and the faces ARE distinguishable. BUT it is normal for people to confuse characters when they're not in their original art style, for example comic books, they change artists per series and sometimes you can only tell a character by their clothes or etc.
