The Blood Brother Chronicles ™ is a project that takes this criteria head on, along with exploring southern spiritual/ cultural topics such hoodoo, voudoun or (voodoo), native traditional medicine and old European spiritual folklore. Out of a myriad of subject matters, what many people have discussed in our focus groups is the fact that even the main characters, their humanity, this an irony unto itself. Ben Beaulieu and Slick (Henry) Skate-Blade are half brothers that share the same white father, a fact that often puts the brothers at odds with the highly segregated world around them.
