Adrienne Dunn of USA Today just straight making crap up. Nowhere in the "fact check" does Dunn explain how New York's standard would outlaw abortion throughout pregnancy. It's one thing to argue that no one would seek an abortion very late (rare but not unheard of), but it's another to argue the law won't allow it (it does). And Dunn doesn't even really *argue* the law won't allow it--just asserts as much with no argument. The last sentence is even more egregious. New York's law allows abortions after 24 weeks only under certain (broad but still defined) circumstances. The other 7 states' laws allow abortion at any stage for any reason--they have no gestational limits on abortion. Not sure how Dunn missed that.
