(I've figured out my character a little more, and I kind of wrote a lot... anyway, I might change some of it at some point)
Basics: Agent#18, age 16, oriented aroace, she/her, Chicago District
Backstory: post-Decimation agent. My powers were hidden from me for quite a while as a result of my concealment abilities (which also hid me from shadows and the Hunt, which was useful). At 14 I started getting occasional power fluxes that slowly got stronger and became too much for my stealth powers alone to cover without training, so I had to start teaching myself how to use my powers more effectively. I managed on my own until I found the AIC for the first time and became an agent. Because I get stronger power fluxes than most, I tend to spend a lot of my time in the Void, and in the mortal world I have to move every so often so the Hunt doesn’t track me down.
Magic: alchemical/apothecary magic
Magnetic manipulation: an oriented aroace power. I'm best at manipulating forces between other objects, including those between charged particles (I can sometimes use this with my alchemical/apothecary magic to alter chemical compounds in the mortal world), but I can also attract metal objects toward myself (right now it's easiest with large amounts of metal and only towards myself. Hopefully with training I'll be able to move objects with even just a trace of metal and use their bonds with other objects to move things in many directions, creating a sort of telekinetic effect).
Stealth powers: pretty strong despite being both aro and ace (multiple aspec orientations usually result in a stronger power signature). I can pass unnoticed unless I'm using a lot of power, but as a consequence I occasionally get a really intense power flux. I'm training to be able to cover another person and eventually maybe a group of aspecs in addition to myself, but it takes a lot of my focus. It should become easier once I can turn into my alternate form (Sage) and use their turquoise/red coloring to my advantage.
Sage, black dragon about the size of a large chair (though they've been known to shift slightly in size) with red and turquoise streaks that help conceal power signatures. Same color eyes as 18.
Ari, a cat. Can pass for a regular house cat, normal state is a bit bigger and with wings. They've morphed into feline-based creatures before (usually this is a gryphon but I'm pretty sure I saw a chimera out of the corner of my eye once and it freaked me out). Ari is very enthusiastic about making friends with 18's actual housecats (it's adorable). The cats are somewhat wary of Ari, however, especially whenever they spontaneously grow wings. Ari is mostly gray and black but sometimes has a tint of other colors, varying by mood. Green eyes.
Skills: math, music, some chemistry, language, some classics, writing
Personality: though 18 is always willing to help on a mission, her strength and preference lie in research and spying rather than confrontation or combat. People can be overwhelming for her especially in big groups. It might take a while for her to be totally comfortable around someone but she really does love the people around her. Very curious, resourceful, open-minded and kind by nature.
Other orientation-related powers: archery, invisibility, probability
I sometimes feel a connection to storms but no weather-related powers have manifested yet.
