Akane has some problems sleeping because she’s usually on alert 24/7 and it messed up her sleeping schedule. She’s also a light sleeper.

Akane doesn’t really cry, and even if she is seriously upset, she’ll try not to show it in order to help other’s who really need comfort. Although, if she does manage to cry, well that’s a whole adventure in itself.

Akane usually keeps a stoic face, but if you look and listen close enough, sometimes she’ll have a small smile and laugh a bit when she’s happy. It would be almost like an achievement if you manage to get her to laugh out loud.

Akane exercises a huge amount of restraint, one of the reasons being that she genuinely doesn’t want or like to hurt anyone and it would reinforce her already bad reputation if she started lashing out for no reason. HOWEVER, as demonstrated in Chapter 2, when she’s mad, she’s mad. If you manage to get her to resort to physical violence, well congratulations; you pissed off someone with military training that could snap you in half like you were an uncooked spaghetti noodle. At the moment, she lives in a building that doubles as a training facility. Her room is neat and tidy, nothing else really to note about it. She does, however, keep and tend to a lot of flowers in her room.

Unsurprisingly, Akane has never been in a romantic relationship before due to the whole sniper biz. She also has trouble telling the difference between platonic and romantic love and it would take a really special kind of dumb Travis to get her to kind of realize she cares about the person in a more intimate way.

Her younger sister, Tomoe, is a very smart kid that’s considered a prodigy. She’s three years younger than Akane and goes to a fancy boarding school in Tokyo because of scholarships. Akane is very proud of her.

Although she doesn’t really notice it, Akane is very pretty. Her physical attractiveness is also what intimidates people to keep their distance from her. She does a good job on making sure she showers at least once a day and she usually exercises a lot, which would explain why she has a good figure for someone that eats sweets a lot.
She usually keeps her hair tied up in a ponytail due to it being more efficient while she’s training or doing homework, but she’ll let her hair down from time to time and she doesn’t look half as bad with her hair down too.

For all of her military and combat smarts, Akane is horrible with academic work. Her worst subjects are maths and sciences and she has trouble studying. She is, however, very good at Phys. Ed and Japanese.

Akane had very long hair when she was younger but she, unfortunately, had to cut it all off when she was put into the military. She grew it out since then but she might have to cut it again if she escapes from the mansion.
Akane is decently good at cooking. She isn’t a master chef but she can cook well enough that she doesn’t live off of cup noodles. She’s very good at cutting up food for...obvious reasons.
Along with sweets, Akane loves slurpees and would sometimes frequent a 7-11 when she’s not working.

Her home was a large estate that sat on top of a hill. It had a very traditional interior and there was even a garden in the backyard with a huge cherry blossom tree. Although, in Akane’s opinion, she could hardly call that place her home.

She and her little sister would play tag that more than often turned into an alarmingly elaborate game of park our, which is odd for a ten year old and a seven year old. She ended up getting tagged on the roof of their house and they got in trouble but they both agreed that it was a lot of fun.

Akane loves autumn because the weather isn’t too hot or too cold, which is perfect for sweater weather. She enjoys the scenery of when the leaves turn colours and loves all of the pumpkin type food (especially pumpkin spice lattes)

She can make omlettes fairly well. She also knows how to cut up fruits and can make fruit salad.

23) How They Act When They’re Sick
Akane tries very hard to hide the fact that she’s sick and it usually works until she ends up running into a wall or misses a shot. She’ll end up sleeping a lot and has to be woken up to eat or drink,
She’ll most likely not even notice she’s in pain in the first place due to being trained under a lot of physically stressful situations. She has a slower reaction time to realizing she’s hurt and the most she’ll do is just say “Ow” in a deadpan voice.
25) Why You Enjoy Them
I roleplayed Akane before and she was a lot of fun and it’s a nice change of pace to roleplay an oc that has a rather morally ambiguous talent. She’s my precious daughter honestly.

18) How they Sleep
Considering Akane has been attacked while she sleeps at least once or twice, she always sleeps on her back so she can get up easier. She’ll sometimes sleep on her stomach when she’s more relaxed and in a non-threatening environment.
