Atticus has always had a fascination with space at large, to this day even in his twenties he can lose himself in it. But when his life came crashing down at the tender age of five it was as if all dreams started to crumble and over the years as he bounced between foster homes and the like well he gave up on it all. He’d dreamed of working for Nasa and though the profession within nasa changed as he matured from astronaut, to planetary scientist, to astrophysicist, he gave up on it all.

Aside from the normal items like his phone, wallet, car keys, and the hearing aids that he often has tucked away into his pocket there is one thing that he is never without, it’s sentimental in that his mother and father got it for him on one of their trips to the planetarium when he was just a small boy. It’s a small metal keychain of Saturn. The perk of having it at all time? If it comes down to it he is not opposed to using it as a weapon.

In general there’s little in life that Atticus takes to heart at least these days, it takes quite a bit for him to hold onto a grudge. But there is one instance in his life where forgiveness is and will never be possible. He hasn’t forgiven the people who invaded his home when he was just a small child, the people who not only attacked his parents but killed them.

Headcanon: Atticus very much has the 'bad boy' style. When he does wear a suit he doesn't do ties UNLESS he's told to but even then he's not the strictest fan of them. Most often it's either a black slim fit style trousers and dress shirt with his leather jacket or more casual black jeans and plain t-shirt style with his leather jacket.

Headcanon: Even at 25 Atticus still really is interested in space, just as when he was 5 his favorite planet remains to be Saturn. He always has this keychain with him, it's made of metal and were it to come down to it he's not opposed to using the material as a weapon. It's athletically pleasing to have but also given his abilities beneficial.

16. How has their childhood affected the way they view an aspect of their life (people, education, society, themselves, etc)?

Jack was neglected by his parents and raised by a brother who looks at him like a 9-5 he can't quit so he tries really hard to prove that he's not some kinda waste of space. It's one of the reasons why he chose to become a doctor instead of working in the field like his brother. Used to have the need to prove himself prior to his first death but after that + 2 centuries down the line, he stopped giving a shit about the people around him. Its not like they'll give a damn. He can deal with it on his own. He always had.

Simon's raised inside the anomalous community with most his family being in Serpent's Hand and thus has it ingrained in him that Anomalous Beings Deserve Rights. It's mainly one of the reasons why he agreed to be part of ethics as well. He firmly believes anomalous people deserve some rights and being in the ethics committee, he has the power to present things from a different and humane perspective . It gives him a lot of side-eye from his peers but it's not like anything he does wouldn't cause suspicion.

Atticus didn't have a childhood. They just Minecraft spawned one day because of a mistake. This causes them to have a very "Welp I'm not gonna be here long enough anyways so fuck it ig" viewpoint when going into things- and making their life decisions. They're not supposed to be here. They were a mistake.
