idk if anyone wonders what i'm up to these days - still reading fic if not getting much time to write, and i'm two exams from finishing the penultimate year of my vet degree, with just the clinical year to go before i'm a real vet

nearly 10 years since my first aftg fic. the years do simply not stop coming!!

reading: TBH I haven't read a new (non-school-related) book since like October. If anybody has any fantasy/cozy/mystery recs for me, I'm all ears.

last series: D and I are currently watching The Pitt as it airs, week by week like the gods intended. For the last series I watched in its entirety, I watched Stranger Things from start to finish from October to December last year.

last movie: I... don't remember. I'm not a huge movie person. The last movie I remember seeing was Howl's Moving Castle when it was in theaters over a year ago.

last song: Opalite by Taylor Swift (it is the toddler's favorite at the moment)

working on: At this moment, an essay due for my personality psychology class. Overall, completing my Associate's this semester before transferring to finish my Bachelor's degree.

sweet or salty: I have such a sweet tooth it is actively detrimental to my personal health.

coffee or tea: I love both, but you'd be more likely to find me drinking coffee.

first, i want to share these pieces of gorgeous gallavich art from some absolute beloveds -- a perfect, snowy, stressed in gay!mickey in a santa hat by @crossmydna & two absolute masterpieces of the boys from my a.u.gust 2023 red string of fate/soulmate drabble by @sgtmickeyslaughter -- these pieces really brought me a lot of light in a really dark time! thank you both, i love you both!

then, i also want to share a little more as to why i've been quiet & absent lately. this space has been such a beautiful place of loving support for me over the years & i really cherish all of the friendships & connections i've made here 🫂

tw: medical updates

i've been having quite mysterious, yet life-altering and debilitating health issues since august 2023 & i've struggled to find doctors to stay interested long enough to solve the puzzle, so they've largely gone un-diagnosed.

late last year, i got injured & ended up being hospitalized for over a month–through all of the holidays & the new year 😭 it was absolutely the hardest time of my life & even though i'm home now, i'm still really injured & probably pretty sick. we still haven't been able to get a firm diagnosis & while i want to stay hopeful that it being hard to find or pin down means it's nothing major, but what's on the table is very serious 😭😭

i want to find a groove here again, or at the very least find meaningful ways to stay connected to the fandom. but please forgive me if i jump into the present moment & am not able to catch up on all of your masterpieces. if you feel really strongly that i need to read or see something, please DM me or pop them links in my asks! or you can also just say hello! i've missed you!!

What are your hobbies? drawing, writing, reading natal charts for filth, traumatising dudes on hinge by reading their natal chart and giving them an existential crisis, looking at photos of yoongi, reading when i have time, walking. i almost said kayaking but i haven’t done that since the summer

11. Do you have any pets? none anymore 🥲 i had a lot growing up - 5 horses (2 still thriving, they’re on loan to families with children to ride them), 3 dogs, 2 cats (my beloved ralph passed away aged 18 in december), 2 gerbils, a hamster, and 3 goldfish

What sports do you play/have played? horse riding pre children, we had 5 while i was growing up so that was near daily until i had to go get a job and be an adult, and only a handful of times since i got pregnant with my oldest ten years ago. two years ago i bought a kayak on a whim and i do that when it’s warm. i live around countryside with mountains and lakes so often go walking somewhere pretty

13. Dream job? i don’t really have one but i like what i’m doing now - kpop pins

14. Favourite subject in school? english language, art, history, chemistry, biology
