Bc yes, I've finally started Heartbreak High (and finished it) and I've loved it so yeah here we are with new babies!
Tagging my Heartbreak High darlings bc I think they might be interested? 🥺 @nikosasaki @daughter-of-melpomene @dancingsunflowers-ocs @ginger-grimm
Beatrice "Bee" White - Spider's sister; ofc they kept the Bugs Nicknames Things also for the baby lmao; could be a Missy ship? TBD ngl
FC: Mina Rueffer
María Alvarado - aroace queen (is literally just here to judge everyone's poor sex and relationship choices); Cash's neighbor, aka they're best friends and she's ready to kill Chook for him lol; if they interacted more her and Missy would be total besties ngl
FC: Maia Reficco
Isla Fowler - gets outed with the Map and is a hell of a shitshow; she knows that it wasn't Amerie's intention but she can't forgive that so easily; is mad more for that than the SLTs becoming a thing bc she actually likes it; Quinni ship bc duh my girl I love her so much
FC: Auli'i Cravalho
(I also wanted an Ant ship bc my boy he deserves all the love and maybe an Harper ship. And also a Spider ship bc that man is so toxic but I love him very much. Idk this show gives me so much oc vibes, so we'll meet again soon with new ideas probably lmao)
i went to bed at 3am. i woke up at 7:45am. i’m either going to be dead by the time night comes or I’m going to fall asleep mid afternoon and fuck up my sleep schedule.
//I just wanted to share with everyone the picture of Maria my awesome friend @redacted-trauma drew this summer (based on a Zepeto I made that more accurately reflects what I HC she looks like!
//Look at it... his art is so amazing and I can never appreciate it enough (/w\)
001 || PAINTING - Cliff Walk at Pourville by Claude Monet - The painting not only reminds her of Maria’s childhood, of hikes with her mother, trips to the mountains and lakes of Colorado, but also of childhoods that came before. It ties in the past and the more distant past nicely in that it is a child with her mother and mothers hold a very special place in Maria’s heart.
002 || DISTINGUISHING MARK - Every incarnation, from Lilith to Mary to Maria has had a few things in common, the most noteworthy of which is dimples. In her many lives she’s been from many places, followed different customs, and claimed different ethnicities, but throughout each one her dimples have always remained as if to ground her to the person she always is. Her look may change but her being does not.
003 || FAMILY MEMBER - Maria’s mother is still currently living in Colorado and the look of her current incarnation heavily favors her. On her bookshelf in LA is a snapshot of her mother with her guitar trying to goad Maria into singing along with her. Maria had been twelve years old at the time and the memories of her past had started coming back with a vengeance. She and her mother had gone for a walk and Maria had struggled to explain what was going on with her, terrified of the reaction she’d get. Her mother didn’t discount her experience or try to tell her she was wrong, instead she just nodded and told her that she knew she was a special girl from the moment she’d gotten pregnant. She said that Maria didn’t have to figure it out right that moment, urged her to put less pressure on herself, then had pulled out her guitar and started playing Memories. Badly. And very loudly.
004 || CHILDHOOD HOME - Maria and her mother lived in a small town in Colorado for most of her childhood. Their house was nestled at the base of the mountains and while it was small and older, her mother made it theirs. The back door was painted bright yellow, bordered by bright flowers and the sharp smell of the herb garden. Where Maria prefers muted tones of whites and greys with the occasional blue, her mother liked bright white with pops of equally bright colors. The kitchen had blue cabinets with yellow accents to match the door, the living room brought in reds and her mother’s bedroom had a wall the color of the sky on a cloudless day. Maria’s bedroom was softer, the walls a pink so pale as to be almost white accented with pink and white floral patterns. Though it was brighter and busier than she typically preferred, it’s difficult to go into that house and not feel cheered by the decor.
