Melissa and I were at a bus stop at Third Street Promenade today and this guy came up to us to ask for directions because he was a tourist. We started talking while Melissa looked up the directions and it turns out he's Canadian and then we started talking about nature and I said how Canada has beautiful landscape. He replied, ''America has beautiful landscape! I mean...landscape. Did I say landscape? I feel like I said landcapes..." and he stood for a moment trying to figure out what he said which was funny. He said ''You have the Grand Canyon! Have you ever been there?" Melissa and I both replied that we hadn't and he laughed. ''You should go this weekend!'' Like son, we don't have money to be taking trips to the Grand Canyon but he was really nice and when he left we wished him luck but like HE SAID TO GO TO THE GRAND CANYON ON A WEEKEND LIKE IT'S NO BIG DEAL LIKE WE ARE POOR COLLEGE STUDENTS. WE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO GO TO OUT TO EAT SOMETIMES AND YOU EXPECT US TO TAKE A BUS TO THE GRAND CANYON
but basically the stereotypes are true Canadians are really nice in person.
