(( Oh I missed one! Ooc because nerd wouldn't say it. Disney musicals are her guilty pleasure. She loves them, she just won't admit it, cuz its not cool enough :T Not a well guarded secret, since she sings and plays along to them sometimes. She'll get over it soon enough though ~ ))

(( Is Cherise a good liar? 

It depends. Most of the time, she makes herself out to look like a bad liar, completely intentionally. She has quite a few secrets lying about, and she’s fairly good at keeping them secrets. The closer someone is to her, the harder it is to lie, mostly because she feels like she’s betraying their trust. ))

HC + Psychic Types

She dislikes them. Possibly even hate them. Her mother is a Psychic type trainer. Cherise grew up surrounded by them, the Pokemon’s loyalty ties in with their trainer, so they were quick to report her locations and what she was up to to her mother. That slowed a little when Midna came into play, but it continued on for many, many years. ))

Liam finds the actual league too easy it's boring to him

(( I headcanon that Gym Leaders use teams and strategies depending on the challenger’s skill. Their job is to test them in various aspects of battle.With newbie trainers, they can’t show their total expertise or else they’d be easily discouraged. 

Cherise has the bad habit of starting things without finishing them though. She’s losing interest, not because it’s hard, nor because it’s too easy. There’s other reasons behind her loss of interest that’s tied into her plot~ ))

Headcanon [ Insert number here Ill check later ]

[ Cherise has low self esteem in regards to being a trainer, mostly because of her mother's constant quizzes about Pokemon. Whenever she got a wrong answer, her mother would complain about wasting money on her education.

Despite her actually knowing many things, she believes shes usually wrong and incapable of being a competent trainer. She sees herself as dumb quite often. 

Also.. she only knows how to take care of adult poison types. All her pokemon were pretty independent when she first got them, the only exception being Ganon but more on that some other time. 

This Vulpix she's recently obtained isn't. Shes still a baby and needs special care, on top of the fact that its a different type from what shes trained before. Which has started making all these feelings of incompetence to resurface. ]

What got your muse into Video games :o?

[ An IC reason for it? ...I have no idea. I don't think you need some kind of reason to get into video games, it's so normal these days. Some people just never stop playing them as they grow older. -shrugs- 

But if you meant an ooc reason.. I wanted a Poison type trainer that was a bit on the shy/insecure type. But she needed some sort of hobby. Books and reading seemed to obvious, so I picked games. She was also partly inspired by one of my former housemate's psychology project about gamers, which I'm helping her out with. Most gamers, most not all of them, tend to act one way online and yet are completely different in person. That's what I wanted to do with Cherise.
