I almost can’t even with this scene of Wolverine slicking his hair back with hair gel and wearing flip flops while Storm lounges around in his bathroom in her underwear. I don’t need to see the celebrities I sensationalize have their mysterious allure stripped away from them. Seriously weird scene.

So we do get actual confirmation of Wolverine taking an official leave of absence from the team to run off and have the adventures that take place in the Wolverine stand-alone series. I like how much care Claremont used to take in trying to make everything fit in a believable continuity. Don’t expect that to last very long. (Uncanny X-Men #246 – Jul 1989)
