This is tricky, since Denny has a lot of split paths he can go down. The main, ‘good’ ending is 'death metal,’ though, so I’ll focus on that here.
Essentially, Denny has an ear for music, somewhat of a hidden talent. If allowed to pursue this, he’ll eventually become quite talented with it, mostly posting his music online at first and gaining a following. That might not seem like much, but it helps build his self worth a great deal-- and creates a new identity, separate from just ‘Danny Phantom’s clone.’ He’s no longer living in the original’s shadow, and that gives him a huge confidence boost in itself.
On top of that, learning to control his ghost powers and use them in creative ways happens over time, too. Denny starts off with very little, but eventually he’ll gain every power listed on his about page-- and after even longer, manage to master those skills.
These factors, along with building a good relationship with Danny and Dani, help to break through his anxiety and lack of confidence, bringing out a kinder, more playful side that doesn’t show itself much early on. He’ll crack jokes(most of which are terrible), tease his ‘cousins,’ play harmless pranks, and become friendlier and more open in general. Denny also becomes much more likely to talk to strangers and make new friends, which helps even more.
By the time he really reaches adulthood, Denny has gotten much better at dealing with people and with responsibility, so while he’s still a bit shy, he won’t outright dive behind the sofa because someone unexpectedly said hi. Given enough time and encouragement, he could even tackle that old fear by performing publicly. The sky is the limit, and it just so happens that Denny can fly.

Now this is definitely a deep can of worms, since each verse has had such drastically different experiences, and Denny’s feelings on Danny are pretty much always ridiculously complex, but I’ll dive right into this because boy is there a lot of variation here. This is getting crazy long though, so I’m gonna put it under a cut, yikes.
In his main verse, ‘the spare,’ it’s only been a few years since Denny was created. Because of this, a lot of his fears– arising from what he overheard in the lab and the violence that occurred there– are much fresher in his mind. He starts off trying to avoid Danny, because he literally believes that Danny would kill him. The main reason for that is him simply not understanding the true circumstances surrounding his ‘birth,’ and interpreting that scenario in the worst possible light. As far as he knows, both Danny and Dani were trying to prevent him from even existing, which disturbs him quite a bit to say the least. As time progresses, though, he can become much less skittish, beginning to understand that everything was not as it appeared. While he’ll always have intensely bad memories associated with Danny’s ghostly wail, he can eventually come to have a very close bond with the other Halfa, even looking up to him like a big brother.
In contrast, ‘Mirror Rejection’ is basically the bad end version of that meeting. If, even entirely by accident, Danny were to cement that image of himself as a danger in Denny’s mind… Denny could eventually come to be extremely hostile and distrustful, embracing his ghost side as a means of protection. Essentially, this could set the stage for the Perfect Clone to become an absolutely brutal foe.
Then there’s ‘Faded Reflections,’ an aged up verse in which Denny is 19. In those several years, he has lost a lot of that initial fear, but become highly resentful, snide, and occasionally outright mean. While he avoids Danny entirely in that verse, any encounter between them is sure to be incredibly tense and uncomfortable… Especially since Denny has become a bit of a ghostly troublemaker– exactly the sort of ghost that Phantom generally tries to keep under control. He lies, he steals, he uses his ghost powers for pranks and law breaking on the sly. Needless to say that they will pretty much always have a rocky start in that verse, but depending on how Phantom reacts… He has that much farther to climb back up, too. If treated with kindness and generosity, he could potentially start to pay that back himself.
One that comes totally out of left field, though, is ‘E C H O.’ In that verse, Denny is… Pretty much mindless, for the most part. Unstable in more ways than one, he is extremely aggressive towards Danny, and anyone else who comes anywhere near him. In that particular verse, he’s just an outright enemy, brutal, powerful, and seemingly unaffected by pain. Needless to say this isn’t a version of Denny which will get a happy ending.
‘The Doppelganger’ is a whole other level of AU, since in that one, Danny never became Phantom, and the circumstances of Denny’s creation are entirely different. Vlad Masters keeps him in that version and uses him against the Fenton family, and in the offshoot ‘Changeling,’ even uses him to infiltrate their household in secret. Because of his upbringing, Denny starts off incredibly hostile towards Danny, believing that the whole family is made up of unethical ghost-hunting fanatics– their son included. In most cases he would come across as callous, spiteful, and harsh, at least until he discovers that everything he knows about them is a lie. After that point he’d feel a great deal of regret towards Danny, but by then… It may be too late.
The next one in line is ‘The Survivor.’ Their relationship is pretty much always going to be extremely complicated in this verse, primarily because Denny thinks his hero complex is going to get him killed. Instead of siding with the good guys, he tries to pick out a neutral path, and really thinks the other Halfas must be crazy not to do the same. But at the same time, he doesn’t necessarily hate them, either, and definitely doesn’t want to see them die. Even as Denny taunts and laughs at them, occasionally fighting to keep them out of his hair, he also gives small tips and hints, and will even try to protect them in certain subtle ways. Despite the frustration and even resentment that he feels against Danny at times, part of him would still like to see him succeed. He just doesn’t believe that’s actually possible.
Another pretty wild one is ‘The Shadow.’ While he’s pretty neutral towards Danny in this verse, he feels a certain level of curiosity as well, noticing how similar they are even as the other, ‘original’ typhon hybrid acts so much differently. At times he may even act benevolently, going out of his way to help Danny when he is in trouble, and shooing away attacking typhon. However, when it comes to humanity, that’s where they will inevitably butt heads; Denny is sided with the typhon species, and insists that ‘ W E A R E A T W A R . ’ He is absolutely merciless against humans, and sees absolutely nothing wrong with ‘exterminating’ them. Needless to say this is going to cause some issues, but also provides a talking point... Because just as Danny has his reasons for defending humanity, Denny has his own for wanting to wipe them out, rooted in old, forgotten research and unethical experimentation long, long before the current crisis... Experimentation that turned his race into the cruel, bloodthirsty monsters they are now.
Back in the main timeline, there’s ‘The Adversary.’ In this AU, Danny failed to stop Vlad-- and because of this, Denny became the true Perfect Clone, with identical powers, and a mind ready for molding to Vlad’s will. Because of this, Denny is a fierce foe who believes Danny captures ghosts for cruel experimentation, and that anything saying otherwise is merely meant to ‘trick’ him. As a result, their relationship is an uncomfortable and strained one, and most times they meet, it’s for an all-out brawl. Denny really believes he’s doing the right thing, and so in a way... They’re both following a hero obsession.
Aaaand, back out in left field, we have ‘The Thief.’ Their relationship is pretty much nonexistent in this verse, aside from the two clashing occasionally as Denny steals food from human settlements. His similar appearance in dragon form also tends to get Danny into trouble, since Danny will get blamed for the trouble his clone accidentally caused. But, under the right circumstances, this Denny could become a great deal friendlier, too.
The last one I’ll throw on here is ‘From the Other Side.’ I haven’t done much with this one, but in all likelihood, any encounters between the two would be very, very awkward. Denny in this AU is an artificial half-demon-- but in general, tends to be more demon than human. Because of this, he’s a trickster and a troublemaker, not even necessarily because he likes being evil, but because he feels that he’s supposed to be. He also has no idea he was replicated from someone on the Human side, so odds are the existence of someone who looks so much like him would be quite startling, to say the least.
