To answer your question, that’s actually pretty clear-cut, and suggests that the girlfriend in question is a current one, not an ex.

im really tired of myself. today sucked a dick, and this day only started.
also my grandpa (my stepfathers dad, actually) is about to fucking die, my cat died (not today, but yea) and tomorrow is going to be seven years since my grandma died.
