"don't assign human morality to non human things" is so true except when it comes to printers. they know what they are, they understand dilemmas and ethics and morality. they choose to be how they are, they choose to be evil, at their very core they are rotten
Reading Gideon the Ninth and I’m not convinced these ‘lesbian necromancers in space’ are ever going to make out, say they love each other or actually date. I’m getting the sense they’re going to spend all four of these books being utterly deranged in a hundred different ways that have never been done before in an extremely disturbing and lesbian fashion. This is not a criticism, I am very much on board for more of this, btw.
"ooh i wonder what happens in the locked tomb" i say before i read the locked tomb
"ooh i wonder what happens in the locked tomb" i say after having read the locked tomb
autism tests are so funny. I'm extremely literal most of the time, but people don't tell me that generally, so I'm inclined to answer disagree. because I'm taking the statement too literally
Jim Rash as Dean Craig Pelton in COMMUNITY (2009—2015)
I just saw someone say “the groundhog is always wrong I don’t get why we still celebrate this” and surely even in the pits of purgatory we are not so far gone that not even a hint of whimsy persists? that so much joy has been sucked from you that the silliness of the day bemoans you? also bitch wtf did u really expect accurate weather predictions from a rodent? anyways all hail phil
shane gets his concussion in spring 2017 which means not only did ilya see the love of his life get horribly injured in front of him he also probably had to listen to “shape of you” by ed sheeran in his uber to the hospital
i love being in the locked tomb fandom because you can get as many spoilers as you want and still have no fucking clue as to what's going on unless you actually read the next book

My mom and I have a thing I call woke college daughter where she'll say something like "men inherently require less work and drama in friendships" and I go "not to be your woke college daughter but perhaps rather than phrasing this in terms of biological essentialism we look at it from the point of view of men being socialized to avoid discussing their emotions which is not necessarily a good thing for either men or women" and by prefacing it with woke college daughter I am acknowledging that even if I'm right I know I'm being annoying about it. And it works.
oh and now they wanna rearrange the reblog options like i don’t already got enough going on
I'm so fascinated by people who seem to believe that analyzing media is somehow taking the joy out of it. Like. Do you not enjoy thinking? Does taking stuff apart and figuring out how it works not give you a hit of dopamine? And you get mad when you see people having fun in this way? What a sad, miserable way to engage with the world.
