Hello I return to you tired and with another ill impostor as an offering.
Okay last one for now hfhsjxjsjsiqn
He.
As messy as this is, something about Twogami here... I love.
Me, deciding to stick my victim!Teruteru thing and my Despair-Diseased-Impostor thing together:
Alright, so. I felt like sharing this mildly funny thing that I wrote with you all. Short and sweet.
Still in that "Impostor with the despair disease" theme, but this would be after someone dies and all the sick people recover. This isn't really supposed to be a serious scene, it’s just silly. Hope ya like it
Allow me to share with you this goofy-ass Monokuma I doodle in my thumbnail
THE WAY YOU DREW IMPOSTER IS SO AMAZING WHAT LSMSJABEKI also you should call his disease the truth disease or something like that LWODJWW ANYWAYS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE CONTENT OF TWOGAMI
Thank you! I love them :3
Though, I'm not sure how accurate "Truth Disease" is for this. What's happening is more like, he's acknowledging that he impersonates others and has no identity, which is something I think he already acknowledges. BUT, for this I've sprinkled in a bit of an inferiority to it? Like, since they don't have an identity and they AREN'T the actual Byakuya, they see it as, "I'm nothing but a liar and I don't actually have the skills that this person I'm pretending to be does. I'm tricking everyone into relying on me when I'm actually useless". I believe that normaly the impostor actually does go through the effort to learn skills that will help them impersonate someone better (like say learning how to draw and animate when disguised as Ryota), but with the disease they forget about that effort or if they do remember it, he sees himself as subpar by comparison.
There's also the aspect of them eventually revealing themself to everyone. Their whole thing is if they're caught they jump ship and change into someone else. They can't do that stuck in the killing game. So I can only guess how hopeless of a situation that would feel like :)
So yeah, I feel like "Truth Disease" doesn't quite fit it? Still not sure though
Seeing as we literally only saw Hagi & Chia’s reactions in the game (thanks Spike🥲), what do you think everyone else’s reactions would be when they found out that Twogami is the Ultimate Imposter??? (Btw, I hope you know that your Despair Disease Imposter AU is the greatest thing to ever exist)
(Thank you I know I love it its the biggest brain move my brain has ever made)
The other's reactions... I think it depends on the context. Are we talking late game? Like, Hajime and Chiaki find this out and actually tell the remaining few like GOOD SAMARITANS? Or is this a hypothetical where it's earlier in the game and there's more people to tell this too?
For the former, I'd say we'd get a few typical reactions of surprise and maybe one of them would be questioning the imposter's intentions? Chiaki shoots that down quick, though. Idk, since everything is slowing down and there's not much left because it's the end of the game I don't think you could do all that much without actually having Imposter there in the room.
For the later, I feel like there's more room for skepticism and Chiaki would have more trouble getting everyone to trust that they had good intentions. I can totally see Hiyoko throwing a fit and saying that they were definitely deceiving the group and were probably the one behind everything or something like that. If Imposter was alive for this they would have to try to rebuild trust with the others.
That's my two cents at least.
