It's funny to me, sometimes my blog feels like a little coffee shop because I noticed I have "regulars". Like, people that usually come into my notes when I make certain posts or reblogs. And like, I notice when these blogs change something on them. Like someone coming into my shop and they cut their hair and a part of me is like "but I liked it how you had it, no!" But also "you can do what you want with yourself, my opinion doesn't matter". But more importantly, I'm happy to see you've stuck around. And sometimes I scroll back on my posts and reread interactions I had with you and I miss the vigor I had when I started. Idk, it makes my heart happy
I've been thinking so much lately about Mario struggling with language. Like, it's probably super common to be multilingual in their world, but that doesn't automatically mean you'll be any good at speaking the different language(s) yourself. And with Mario, I just like to imagine he struggles with English specifically. He understands it when spoken to him just fine, but talking back is just oughhhhh! And it annoys him that he struggles with it, which just makes him... not talk as much. Like, everyone headcanons that Luigi is socially anxious and isn't good with people so he leaves Mario to do the talking, and I get why people assume that. But in my head, it's the COMPLETE opposite. Like, I don't imagine Mario as socially anxious perse but his struggle with speaking just makes him a man of few words, so Luigi talks more instead. Mario only speaks if he feels like he needs to, which isn't like "talking is a last resort" level strict, because he's aware that it's not that serious of a problem. He just... he's chill like that. Doesn't intervene in a conversation unless he thinks something is relevant.

i feel like the youth should be reminded that the point of shipping is not for a ship to become canon. the point of shipping is to collect all the canon crumbs like starved mice, run away cackling and make some fun little scenarios with them just for the hell of it.
Gonna chill out the rest of May and then change my entire life in June. Possibly July if that doesn't work out. Certainly no later than September or October.
Getting so nervous at the "emdashes = writen by ai" equivalence, cause I genuinely use emdashes semi-often because I have a tendency to interrupt a sentence with something that I think is relevant enough to mention but not irrelevant enough to put in parenthesis/brackets. Or I do a dramatic interruption of the sentence so the prose can correct itself on something since I write the prose in-character cause I hate writing in first person. I don't want to finally finish something and try to share it with the masses only to get yelled at for being "not real" because DUDE. I take a LONG TIME to do a lot of things, and I've found that writing takes me literal YEARS. Please, I promise I wrote that by hand, tears in my eyes because of how I write at a snail's pace, I'm just being dramatic BELIEVE ME--
Every time someone likes my Twogami with despair diseas post I am simultaneously rejuvenated and given a light stroke of anxiety, because I haven't forgotten about it and love when people see it. But I also haven't forgotten about it, as in, I want to do more with it but have been stuck on how to write stuff for it
Oh yeah, funny thing! At the time I was debating what name to call their symptom, and I finally landed on something I liked! But, by the time I did... I had already decided to throw out personalized symptom names entirely so it literally doesn't matter lmaooo
I finally noticed that in every depiction of the Mario Bros' home (at least that I know of), they are depicted as sharing a bedroom, and dude. Couldn't be me. I shared a bedroom with a varying number of siblings throughout my life and Boy, did that get on my nerves at times. So realizing that these two always share a bedroom, I'm like "do you not get tired of each other??" I love my family but bro, I need space XD
