Fandoms: so many, seriously, so many. Witcher, Bond, Sherlock, Labyrinth, Teen Wolf, Harry Potter, Kingsman, and so many more, seriously lots.

By kudos? Well Matched - Harry/Eggsy - Harry's body is insisting he find a mate or die. Eggsy has been given 14 days to find an alpha or lose his son. Interesting things happen when they meet. Is it purely chance that they happen to meet at an Alpha-Omega mate finding event?

By hits? Seeking - John/Sherlock - John's a wolf-shifter who has just recently returned to London, Sherlock is the gifted human who just happens to need a flatmate, what happens when the two of them come in contact with each other.

Actual worst part of writing: when the characters won’t shut up until you go to write what they are saying and doing, but they are suddenly silent. Seriously, I sat down to write the thing as you wanted, why are you now giving me the cold shoulder?

How you choose your titles: most the time I don’t they just come with the story, sometimes though I bounce ideas off one of my lovely writing partners until something clicks into place.

Do you outline: it all depends on the story. For some, yes, they are needed to keep all the characters and plot lines orderly. For others, nope, I write as I go, because the characters just aren’t shutting up but not being so annoying I can’t keep up with them.

Ideas I probably won’t get around to but wouldn’t it be nice: so many of them it’s hard to list, a lot of them have to do with found family, and various types of relationship dynamics, whether including sex or not.

Callouts @me: make time to write you dinglecat, seriously, life is always going to be a mess, might as well fight against it and get some words in at least each day.

Best writing traits: I always finish my stories, my timelines make sense, character growth (!!! they start off with some stupidity going on, they realize why, they try to fix it).

Spicy tangential opinion: I dislike how purity culture is on the rise again, it often is accompanied by a drop in content making, content sharing, and commenting. More often than not, it starts the downwards spiral of the fandom or topic it is about. Supposedly it is to protect people, whether children or someone else, but rarely does it. Instead it makes the creators responsible for the readers choices. That’s not how it is supposed to work. A person wants to take offense over a lack of tags because the creator didn’t use any, including the “Choses Not To Tag” and it leads to misrepresenting their creation, I get it. But just attacking because something is “not pure” or “problematic” is an issue and a half for me.

Quick Update

Hi All

Apologies a head of time for any spelling errors or jaimi-isms. It's been a long few weeks, and I haven't had the energy to do much when not sleeping, I have been in so much pain going near my computer desk hasn't happened, and I'm exhausted from Murphy's Law.

Here's the last update link, shit wrong there directly ties to here. However to recap: trying to find money for Winston's payment, two loans, get account out of the negative, pick up the cats from the crematorium, electric bill, and repair the car. Total needed $1,015. From that, I got the cats and the electric bill. For which is awesome. So awesome. Completely awesome. I appreciate those wonderful peeps. Seriously. You’re amazing.

Technically I had the account out of the negative. For like a day. Then both loans hit and got bounced, and there were fees. Then Winston's payment hit, and it didn’t go through. I might be able to get my account back if I can pay it back within a week. Though, I'd like to try and pay it back when I call the main office on Friday the 6th. I realize that’s not a lot of time, considering it’s tomorrow. That said, if I could even give a date when I could make a payment, any payment at all, that’d be great.

Now I have over draft fees to pay for the loans and on Winston.

Besides the mess with my checking account, ma’s furnace broke down. Rather thoroughly. Twice sadly. Our normal furnace peep wasn’t reachable, and still, over a week later, not responded to the messages left for him. I wasn’t even a pest, simply called once and said who I was, asked if he had time to check ma’s furnace because it was acting off, and to please call me back. He never did. so I found a new company that was suggested by multiple folks in the area. They were awesome.

The first bloke sent got it running again, but warned it could break and showed me why, answering all questions I had. The second bloke came the next day with a temp furnace when it broke down again, that very part the first warned was a problem, and we hoped we could hold off on, cause it cost more than I had on hand. Yeah, that didn’t happen. So there went money I had planned to use towards the car, from a commission.

Then a third bloke came to actually fix it once the part was in. Sadly, it was discovered that fixing it wasn’t actually going to solve the over all issue, as the furnace has just reached the end of its life.

Today as I was doing errands, my front end started making odd noises, which is a problem, as I still owe from when my tire went flying. I think it’s a ball joint or springs, which means both front ones will need dealt with.

I haven’t been able to get the store building, as the terms have been changed multiple times during the negotiations, and I ended up pulling the money I had back out for bills plus I started working on getting an online store up and running. Sadly, due to everything, the payment is due and I haven’t had a chance to technically launch it cause I wouldn’t be able to get to the books. But I came up with a plan, use the bookshelves I can access in the shed to hold them so I can start selling, but every time I go to start that, it storms and gets snowed in. So I need the funds for that too.

I’m seriously hoping spring comes in and washes all the bad away, so the rest of the year goes smoothly. Cause on top of that, there are issues no amount of money can fix within the family that are adding to the stress.

Totals & Needs:

Get my checking account back to zero and re-opened: $265

Mechanic: $250 past due, probably another $250 for the further front end work.

Winston payment: $180

when did you first decide to start writing as a serious hobby?

Hi Anon! Thanks for the ask, I’ve always been writing, I published my first book August 1, 2018. That is Tales of Identity: Memories & Reflections. I have been working on a novel series in an alternate universe that is a long way from done but haven’t had a lot of progress lately due to offline factors and stress. I refuse to risk messing Converging Lives ( @converginglives - cause yes it has its own blog) up by working on it when I was not in a head space to do so at my best.

What’s something about your WIP/OCs you love to talk about but are seldom asked?

Yumpiw!

I love to talk about Yumpiw [jumˈpiw, the language of the ‘amubaw [ʔaˈmubɔ]](dragonblood) from my story Bonds & Negotiations. I know I haven’t talked about it much, but folks rarely ask anything about it.

Here’s a few words related to relationships and love.

i tutwu ú to [i tutwu ʊ to] - i care for you - often used between to peeps in a developing relationship.

i nan to [i nan to] - i adore you - it is used to show strong affection to a partner

i ngûmú to [i ŋʌmʊ to] - i treasure you - while this is used most often for children and offspring, it can be used for life partners who are bonded as well.

i ngùntà to [i ŋɵntɑ to] - i love you - not a phrase used often among the ‘amubaw, love is used for plenty of things and is an acknowledged emotion but is not often used for relationships.

PS. the words within the brackets are the IPA way to say the sentences.

What's an interesting fact about your OC that they don't think is very interesting? Thank you wonderful peeps for sending me asks for StoryTeller Saturday! It’s awesomeness in all the ways.

To make it easier to track, though no promises it will always work because life, at the beginning of posting each week’s STS, I’ll reblog this with the posts from the previous week added below one of those lovely cuts.

I will also be sending out questions to those who ask, or that I note liking them, to the best of my ability.

Sadly life and health means I won’t be able to do it every Saturday, but any one I miss will be answered and posted the following to the best of my ability.
