Did you drop Judith from your muse list? I hope not, I loved your Judith.

I did, though I’m thinking of adding her back to my list. I’ve had a few people ask me about her. Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked her.  Sadly, I mainly dropped her off my muse list because she had no threads.

Allow me to return the favor for Judith! What sort of things about Judith do we not really know yet on ACWF? Also, for the good ole Jax/Judith, does Judith suspect that Jax has any personal troubles going on, and what goes through her mind when she sleeps with someone different?

Finally took me long enough to get to this ask. Whew!

Oh boy, there’s an abundance of facts about Judith that I haven’t even begin to address or hint with her and sometimes, I run them by to Fly or drop little hints to him on Skype because I simply cannot wait to divulge into her past, tics, and actions/beliefs, etc. All right, enough chit-chat, time to get down to business!

Judith has had a fucked up childhood. After witnessing her parents’ death at the tender age of 7 (before the attack, her father was playing one of his favorite old songs and the leader of the raiders appreciate the song so much that he permitted Judith’s father to be the last to die while listening to the song again. Hence, the song now serves as a trigger for her.), there was a lot of atrocities she experience during her time with the raiders. She, along with others, were chosen because they had biotic potential so they were pushed and experimented to extreme situations to create a super biotic army to fend off their competitors. While the leader wanted them to be in top condition and remain healthy, he didn’t care much for their mental well-being. However, his longtime friend took care of the children and protected them from the other raiders’ sinister intentions. The old turian only joined the team mainly because he was worried about the children his friend/leader was going round up and wanted to save them the best he can. In fact, Judith looked up to him because he was the only person who fought her and the other kids’ interest. Unfortunately, one of the raiders, a batarian was fascinated by Judith and once commented on her rare hair color and “how pretty it was” and then later added that for a human, she’d grow up to be knock-out. She was 12 when she heard this and naturally, these remarks disturbed her greatly. The leader forbade his raiders from doing anything to the children but some tried to anyway, only to be stopped by the kids’ turian protector. The batarian’s lewd, inappropriate advances and words was the main catalyst for Judith to start a fire in the ship’s kitchen and escape into a drell and hanar planet when she was fourteen because she was frightened for her safety and sanity.

When she was adopted by her drell family, Judith finally had a normal childhood. While she did need therapy, she slowly learned how to live again (it was strange, being the only human in a planet full of hanar and drell) and be herself once more. She had several crushes and girlfriends and boyfriends along the way (lost her virginity before she was fifteen) and was very close to her adoptive brother. When the Alliance took her away, she became more sadistic and furious, rarely associating with anyone on her team because she couldn’t wait to get out after the forcibly had her join (let’s just say the person in charge of the whole operation was very corrupt). So while she was stuck there, she turned the legal system to eventually get her out and recognize she was wrongfully “enlisted” and in her free time, fucked a lot of her comrade-in-arms. In fact, she is rather famous in her old Alliance platoon and some of them will always call or meet her for another go. 

Her smuggling years brought her a lot of tricks and credits, but agony as well. For instance, her first long relationship was with an asari named Lorria who took advantage of her by getting her addicting to Azure Dust and then passed Judith around like a bottle of beer to some of her friends at a party. She always made sure Judith was drugged up because Lorria loved the control and power she had over her girlfriend and the more Judith was addicted to Azure Dust, the more she had to kowtow to her “requests”. Luckily, she was already friends with Savitr (they met at his club, he bought her drinks, they chatted and danced a lot prior they slept together and after more talking and sharing breakfast together, a friendship was born) and he wanted her to get clean and leave Lorria for good. Judith agreed to the first but refuse the former, she really cared for Lorria because “they had amazing sex”, “her parties were fun”, and “she never judged her for who she was and could be anyone around her”. However, Savitr pointed out he qualified for all those things and added he doesn’t abuse her with drugs so she can be sexually vulnerable to Lorria and her gang. She didn’t want to admit to being used, vulnerable, and taken advantage of, especially sexually because Judith prides herself of her sexual freedom and to take that away from her would be devastating, a sign she lost control of herself and life. Before she could really make a decision and change her habits, Lorria was killed in combat and so, Savitr assisted Judith in rehab and slowly, she healed and got over Lorria, realizing what a toxic relationship she was in. Unfortunately, she later meet Farion and soon become involved in another unhealthy relationship yet the situation is more complicated but still insane. Losing people she cared about, Lorria’s exiting her life, etc. motivated Judith to engage in flings, short-term relations, one-night stands, orgies, etc. and her up-and-down relationship with Farion, she always determined to be the first one to leave a relationship, old or new. The only person she doesn’t have one foot out of the door is with Savitr because their close companions and family and they trust each other. Thus, she knows he’ll never walk out of her life to find someone “better.”

Now, onto Jax/Judith, a ship very near and dear to my heart! 

Judith is very fond of Jax and believes he shares the same affinity but has no idea that he pretty much loves her. Why? Besides, Savitr, she doesn’t believe she is lovable or capable of being loved by someone. She thought she loved Farion and he her and look what happened. She has a very warped view of what “love” is so of course she can’t recognize Jax’s healthy, actual version of love. In fact, right now, she’s under the impression Jax is losing interest in her (because his current rejections of sex) so she is prepared to leave their sexual relationship and go onto the next bed. You see, thanks to Lorria and few others, Judith mistakenly assumes sex = love so if someone doesn’t want to have sex with you, they don’t care about or love you (however, she understands this is different for asexuals or people who don’t adore sex like she does. She applies this logic to people akin to her and have her lifestyle). Naturally, Savitr is the exception to everything but that’s why Judith doesn’t considerate that Savitr might not be the only person who lovers her not just for the sex but for the little things, her personality, the memories they share, and everything else. So that’s what goes in her mind when she sleeps with others and doesn’t think of what her other partners think (Judith doesn’t cheat, she only “dates” or gets involved with people who accept her ways and don’t mind if she goes to orgies or in poly relationships). She presumes Jax is fine with her sleeping habits but does wonder about his well-being and if he’s not telling her something. If he does and actually opens to her about his past, Judith will most likely to do the same (some advice Savitr will grant to Jax in the RP, for he points out, “If you want to learn more about Judith then you have to do the same and open up to her. How do you expect her trust you more and understand your feelings if you shut your personal troubles for no one to see?”).
