“DAMN.” Questions for Muses.
DNA. -What was your muses home life like?
So, back with the Qun it was pretty simple. They were just children, so they did they part learning about the Qun from their Tamassran, preparing for their roles. But they left before they could be assigned to them, so there’s that.
As for their life after the Qun... It was still pretty simple, they were taken in by a merchant from Antiva that was the one to find them as stowaways in the ship that they fled in, and he saw they could be of help. They didn’t have a fancy life growing up, they were just workers at the docks handling goods, helping at the warehouses, or even going along to help when the ships had to sail off. Kahen really liked that part, and he’s very fond of sailing. Though they had the added difficulty of being Tal Vashoth in a world of humans, andin a country that isn’t very fond of them exactly. They understood that they had little chances of ever feeling at home and accepted in Antiva, as much as they were content with their simple lifestyle and hardwork. So they became mercenaries: it paid better, they could choose who they worked for, and they didn’t need a place to ‘feel accepted’ or at home since they’d be on the move all the time. Plus, Kahen considered it safer than staying in one place forever.
LUST. -Who does your muse find attractive?
Kash... Kash will hit on anyone. She’s shameless about that. But when it comes to sincerely finding someone attractive... She likes people for their particularities. The one thing that makes them obviously different from others. People who have a little spark and fierceness, who are not afraid to stand up for themselves. She likes a bit of confidence.
Kahen on the other hand... He is complicated. He is attracted to people with a sense of curiosity. People who ask the smart questions, and that can think for themselves and move forward like that. Someone who observes the world around them and does something with that knowledge... He prefers calmer people too, someone who doesn’t mind a bit of quiet. He finds it VERY attractive when people surprise him... Though he’s very confused by it too XD He doesn’t know how to deal with attraction.
XXX. -What’s the raunchiest thing your muse has ever done? (Kash)
Threesomes, and stuff with even more people *hides face* Definitely. Kash likes to spice things up a little...

Meta: their bloodlines, if there's history of twins in their family, who was actually born first, did they have complications because they were twins?
Send me a topic to write a meta about my muse on
//Oooh complicated topic XD The twins are offspring to a tamassran and a sten, and that’s basically all I know about their parents and family (and they don’t even know the father, so yeah there’s that too). What I do know, is that they were treated as any other child under the Qun, except that their being twins was seen as a potential advantage growing up for the particular bonds some twins can share (not so much on an affective level but one of understanding each other. Strategic), and so they were kept in the same kith. They did share that affective bond, however, being children as they were, and that bond ended up in their flight when Kash first came to her magic at age eleven. While Saarebas are actually respected under the Qun, though seen as very dangerous, Kahen couldn’t bare the thought of being separated from his twin. That is the actual reason behind reasons why he was urged to flee.
And despite how much Kahen insists it’s not an important matter and calls it silly to even think about it... Kash is right, and she was born first XD If she really knew that for a fact (she says it just as a joke to get on Kahen’s nerves, she doesn’t actually know it’s true), she’d never let Kahen forget about it. She also got the greater height, if only by an inch, and larger horns lol.
I do imagine there were some complications for their birth, considering Qunari babies must not be small by the time they’re ready to be born. But with how advanced Qunari are in medicine, I think they’d have a much better chance of being ready for multiple childbirth than other races and cultures. Thus, both twins were born healthy: just Kahen was smaller and growing up he was slightly more prone to getting sick than Kash. But what he lacked in that sense, he made up with cleverness and strategic thinking.
2, 3, 4, (both!)
For every ✍ + a number I receive, I will share one headcanon for my muse about…
2. …being touched.
KASH: Oh she won’t back away from touch unless it’s aggressive (in which case you might get a hard headbutt, punch, eyebrows burned off, or if it’s in a fight you’re getting a full raging qunari mage on you so… not recommended).
KAHEN: Not shy about casual touch, but the moment he realizes he has feelings for someone it’s like “oh shit I’m holding their hAND”
3. …how long they hold grudges
KASH: She’s... complicated. She may make it look like she doesn’t care, but she’s... revengeful. Do her wrong on purpose and you’re going to have a bad time. Very bad. She might not even take excuses or apologies (this runs more with actions than insults though).
KAHEN: is a wary man. If someone plays tricks on him or does him or his sister (especially his sister) wrong, he’ll definitely hold a grudge, possibly get payback and it will be really hard to win his trust back (that if the offender wants it anyway). If not given a sincere apology and proof that the person is sorry and doesn’t want to offend in such manner again, Kahen will hold on to that grudge indefinitely.
4. …how sensitive they are to insults.
KASH: Eh, sometimes she’ll reply with sass, other times she’ll punch you in the gut. It really depends on the insult, but she does take them to heart and won’t just let them pass and let the offender get away with them like nothing happened.
KAHEN: He will DEFINITELY reply with sass (smartass sass) or outright ignore the person like they’re not even worth his time. He’s already assumed people will insult them, and he’s ready for that.
Multiples of 5. Odd numbers for Kahen. Even numbers for Kash.
For every ✍ + a number I receive, I will share one headcanon for my muse about…
KAHEN:
5. …being complimented.
He can handle casual flattery, stuff that is more frivolous and not necessarily meant as such. But honest compliments… He doesn’t handle honest compliments XD He literally goes into “can’t compute” mode and kind of loses his usual calm and firm demeanor because he gets all confused about it and doesn’t know how to react to it.
15. …where they see themselves in ten years.
Still working as a mercenary, if he can. He’s a practical man, doesn’t want to just sit there and retire or relax (and even so, 40yo is still early for retirement from mercenary work lol). Always with Kash, never quite apart. He just doesn’t think of himself without Kash: it’s… like they come together in package XD
KASHAADI:
10. …their handwriting.
Not nearly as neat as her brother’s. While it’s still very readable, it’s more careless and… loose? I don’t know how to describe it, and I have yet to find the perfect font for it lol
“My dear… Charming as it gets, with a little spice and wild fire.”
20. …what they think the meaning of life is.
Freedom.

Headcanon: some differences between the twins
Looks:
Being twins, the share a very similar facial structure: a strong jawline, short pointy ears, sharp high cheekbones. But at first glance it is quite noticeable a difference in horn length: Kash gets the longer horns, curved upwards at the ends. Kahen’s are much shorter and straighter as they go back, earning him the nickname only Kashaadi has for him: Short Horns.
Length of hair is also a great difference. Kahen prefers to keep it short and well kept, usually combed back except for a few rebelious short locks that fall a bit over his forehead, as well as neatly shaved (he doesn’t like having a stubble). Kashaadi’s hair, on the other hand, is ridiculously long and abundant, a mass of long white silvery hair that flows smoothly down her back, just a bit lower than the small of her back.
Kash is also the tallest of the two, but merely by an inch so it’s barely noticeable unless they’re standing upright and back to back. She knows though, and likes to remind Kahen about it.
Both have facial tattoos: Kahen’s are plain grey, darker than his skin, and it’s only the facial markings. Kash has red tattoos on her cheekbones and brow, but the tattoos don’t stop there for her. She has intrincate patterns all over her right arm and leg, plus left hip. They’re usually covered under her clothes though, out of sight unless she takes them off or wears something meant for warmer weather.
Clothes and decorations
Kahen has a taste for more formal clothing. He likes fine shirts and vests, and he’ll be seen wearing those if he can get his hands on them with money he has saved. He likes belts and buckles as well, and an be seen wearing those often. While he is a warrior and is usually on the front line in a fight, he dislikes wearing heavy gear like metallic armour, because it slows him down. He prefers his gear lighter, and his clothes in darker colours.
He wears one single earring, near the tip of his right ear. Other than that, he prefers not to wear flashy jewelry.
Kash, on the other hand, likes things flashy. She’ll wear shiny armour and no one can stop her. She wears multiple earrings and will gladly wear necklaces and bracelets if the occasion calls for it. In clothing, she goes for red, pink, purple and yellows.
Manners and personality
Kash is the snarky twin. Crude jokes, teasing, constant flirting, and harsh ‘not going to make my thoughts pretty for you’ comments. Not much filter between her thoughts and her mouth, and she won’t stop herself from flirting with strangers just because it might be inappropiate. But this also makes her look more relaxed and open than her brother.
Kahen is more formal. Stoic, more careful with his choice of words, most of the time on business-mode. He keeps a serious demeanour, often appearing cold and unfeeling (or easily annoyed, when Kash is teasing him and being inappropiate). He’s less carefree and more calculating, and tries not to show much emotion as to not let his guard down.
Likes and dislikes
Kash likes noise, partying, making bets where she knows she’s going to be the winner, dancing and messing around with people (in more than one sense of it). She doesn’t like rules a lot, but follows them for the sake of doing a good job when needed (though is not afraid of bending them in almost extreme ways). She likes great crowds in taverns, fire, sweet wine.
Kahen likes things more quiet. He likes reading, sailing, the sea air. He likes talking business, a strategy well planned with all the details figured out. Doing things in time, being early to places, taking precautions. Planning ahead. He likes music as well, string instruments preferably, if he has a choice what to hear (he finds it relaxing). He dislikes drinking (alcohol), and would rather have a cup of coffee over a glass of wine.
What's a way the twins are VERY alike and VERY different?
On anonymous, send me questions you’d like to know about my muse / how I portray my muse.
// Something they’re very alike: they’re very protective of each other, but they don’t ever say it out loud. When it comes to actions, it shows: if one of them is in danger, the other will do the most reckless things to keep them safe. But they won’t admit out loud in random circumstances, it’s like a sort of an unspoken ‘pact’ between them. But if you get to know them well, you’ll see that they’re always looking after the other in the smallest things, but being subtle about it. It’s only when one of them is in immediate danger that it becomes more obvious.
Something they’re very different: oh my, there’s a lot of stuff. For example, Kash is all the “live and enjoy life” kind of girl: if she has a chance to do something, she’ll take it. Kahen, on the other hand, is very methodic and careful and doesn’t rush into things like his sister, or at least not usually. He gives a very stoic, composed kind of vibe most of the time. Kahen a man of business; Kash is a woman of pleasure. Kahen can even appear as the killjoy while Kash is all about fun and impulsiveness.
