Relationship Post w/ Eris
• Caine knows Eris is manipulative, but as long as they don’t interfere with his life, he doesn’t care what they do.
• They have an unspoken agreement to stay out of each other’s way. Caine doesn’t trust Eris, but they’re not worth his concern.
• Sometimes he wonders what Eris is up to, but not enough to ask. Caine has no interest in getting to know them any more than he already does.
• They’re family because of circumstance, and he accepts that. If something happened to Eris and it inconvenienced him, Caine might step in just to keep things balanced.
•If Eris disappeared, it wouldn’t change anything for him. Their existence has no real impact on Caine's life.
• Lilith doesn’t understand Eris, but there’s something about them that keeps her slightly on edge.
• She prefers to stay out of Eris’ way, but every now and then, she finds herself wondering what’s going on in their head.
• Unlike her "True Love," Eris is just another dull person in Lilith's eyes—except, sometimes, she isn’t sure if that’s entirely true.
• Lilith isn’t afraid of Eris, but something about them makes her skin crawl, and she can’t quite place why.
• She doesn’t hate Eris, doesn’t like them either, and doesn’t care enough to figure out what that means.
• Atius once idolized Eris, but now they’re more of a distant figure from his past than someone he actively cares about.
• Out of the three, Atius and Eris are the most similar to each other in terms of motivations/methods, but they prefer to keep their distance from one another.
• Atius doesn’t dislike nor fear Eris, but he sees no reason to interact with them unless necessary.
• When they do talk, it’s all surface-level pleasantries and half-truths, both Atius and Eris are very much aware that there’s nothing real behind any of it.
• Despite their distance, there’s an unspoken understanding from Atius towards Eris—whether it’s respect, indifference, or something else, we don't know.
