stella tilted her head. “what are you craving? i love cookies,” she replied with a kind smile. she wanted to help the blonde if she could. “chocolate! i love chocolate! aw thank you! that’s very nice of you to say!”
Matt didn’t care that they were talking about sweets or that Stella was smiling, like she always did. The moment he saw them together, his heart stopped. He moved quickly, stepping in between the two, never taking his eyes off of Lilith– though he didn’t address her. “Stella, I need you to get as far away from here as physically possible.”
@sealedlilith
"Matty! You're here. Aw, how sweet. You two, reunited... Matty has told me so much about you, Stella." Of course he hadn't but when you only have one month to live... It's not hard to see clearly the details of someone's life and Lilith had been paying attention. Her voice had been sweet, high-pitched as she pouted suddenly at them both. "Now, now there's no need to be mean."

diego-on-fire:
“Alright, making a note to never stand between you and buffet table. Yep, sounds about right. With a threat like that, you could probably swing free bread for life at the local corner store.” Diego shook his head. “I don’t think so. I’ve never been here before.”
"Clever boy." She gasped suddenly at his words, hand dramatically covering her heart, "Now there's an idea... I'd never have to buy groceries again after the rumours began to spread. Hm, no? Never? Then why did you come here? Besides the bread, obviously."
irascibleramsay :
“Ah yes, that is a genius idea- take the bread from the woman threatening to kill the next person who ate her bread.”
“Maybe today will be your lucky day. The sole survivor of the bread massacre of 2024… Wouldn’t that be impressive? You could put it on your-,” gravestone, “Resumé.”
drakevonsnake:
“Sandra? Oh, Sandy, baby! No!” Drake approached her, swiftly at first but he slowed as he got closer. “Come on, you can’t be eating like that if you wanna make it in this business.” He reached out to take the sandwich from her, “You’re better than this, babe. Don’t do this to your ass. On behalf of the world, I beg you.”
“Uh-uh,” Lilith’s hand snaked out before Drake could come any closer to her sandwich, holding onto his wrist just so… But not putting enough pressure on it to actually make any impact. After all, he was one witch known practically globally for his magic hands. “You should have learned by now not to get between a girl and what she wants, Drakey, baby.” She smiled wider as her white eyes shone on through for a brief moment before returning to Sandy’s baby blues. “Honestly, I’d expect you to at least recognise me… You really had her eating out of your palm,” she grinned, releasing his wrist, “Agent.”
steele-yourself:
Asher took another swig from the bottle, once again cringing from the bitter taste that washed down his throat. Seriously, how did anybody actually like this crap? He could account on more than one occasion how he’d overheard his father discuss the rich and smooth flavor. “Smooth my ass,” he muttered, wiping his lips carelessly with the back of his sleeve, offering the bottle back to the woman. What had she said her name was, again? “Oh, no, I’m not nearly that deep. Just your typical teenage boy with a reputation.” Should he have admitted that he was a teenager? That part was probably obvious, but he was being extremely careless. “My dad drinks this shit and since I can’t get a fake yet, it’s my only option. But-” He found himself letting out a small little laugh. “I’d like to get this taste out of my mouth.”
Sometimes Lilith could not stand the ins and outs of humans (not the literal ins and outs of course, those were always fun to play with) but most of the time she did love the drama. And there was always drama. Every little thing was a production. Even her current vessel had been a treasure trove of daddy issues and falling down the proverbial rabbit hole even before Lilith came along to help. She loved that. What she was watching right now though? This was the sad post-break up montage on some revamped CW show turned Netflix Original. Lilith let him pout and drink and talk. Pulling on another smile, she leaned on her hand, eyes drifting to the bottle again- he was really going to regret having brought that in the morning. "How very Danny Zuko of you... Well, if you really wanted that, wouldn't you be here with someone other than yourself? A friend... Boyfriend... A Matt."
steele-yourself:
Asher allowed the woman to snatch the bottle from his hands, pleased to see her take a swig from it instead of dumping it all out on the ground. “I doubt you can refine any taste to genuinely like cheap whiskey, but to each their own, right?” Fortunately for him, he was a master at the mind-reading (which he normally didn’t try to do, but he was at least a little tipsy and could he really be blamed?), so he knew that she wasn’t thinking about getting him in trouble for this. Her mind said something about perfect opportunities and Matt– No, that was probably just him. “I’ll drink to that one, though,” he said, reaching for the bottle once more. He wasn’t nearly drunk enough, not yet.
"Maybe you're right, there are definitely better tasting...things out there," she smirked, biting back a giggle as she kept the bottle in her hand, her grip tightening on it ever so slightly. Lilith could understand the appeal, he was cute in a teenage dirtbag kinda way. Maybe this is what Hell had really done for Matty- given him a taste for the bad boys over sunshine and rainbows. She wanted to figure out the appeal, the history but not here. Not...right now. He reached out for the bottle and for a split second she wasn’t sure she’d let it go...but she did, watching him take another drink. "Why the cheap whiskey then? If it's not for the taste then maybe you're trying to get another one out of your mouth, hm?"
steele-yourself:
“Oh god. I always forget about that shitty aftertaste that follows the burn.” Asher may have been friends with Matt now, but that didn’t mean he was ready to turn over a new slate and be some ‘pure’ person, like everyone else that seemed to surround the hunter. In fact, that was all the more reason for Asher to be found- late at night- in the park with a bottle of half drunk Jack Daniels. He had a reputation and Matt was seriously ruining his street cred. “They should put a warning on the bottle. ‘Hey, this tastes like curdled piss. Just so you know.’ Not that it’d stop anyone from drinking it, but whatever.”
Lilith had been kind, hadn't she? Instead of mascaraing everyone that Matt Murdock knew or had ever come into contact with because she hadn't got what she wanted from his little trip downstairs, she'd let it go. To an extent of course. She'd only dressed up as an angel. Her whims, her fickle nature was practically legendary but on occasion, she saw the potential in the long game (apocalypse, anyone?). Letting Matt get back to what was left of his adorable little life and prodding loved ones was part of that long game. Admittedly she had become increasingly bored with waiting but that was when Asher Steele fell right into her lap. Shouting, kissing, broken bookshelves... It was perfect, really. And here he was now, drinking- practically on a silver platter. "Maybe you need to refine those tastes of yours," she smiled, plucking the bottle from his hands and pressing it to her own lips, "Life's too short."
lilith as an angel,,
What's your favourite thing about your new vessel?

The hug was a nice one, he hadn’t hugged his sister in what felt like over a decade. They may not of exactly grown up together but they’d always been close, this had been the last place he expected to see her. Still, it was a pleasant surprise. He gave her a tight hug before finally pulling back and hearing her out. “Well, you know if you need anything I’ve got your back. Screw dad and his dadism.” He exclaimed. “Don’t be scared to ask, he doesn’t even have to know. If things are hard I wanna be there for you.” He said giving her shoulder a comforting squeeze. “Hey, don’t ever be scared to face me. We’re family.” He smiled. “I missed you too.” His gaze fell as something occurred to him. “Did you… did you hear about mom?”
Sandra had always been flaky. She had big dreams of becoming a star and almost no reason to stay in her big home with its big, empty rooms. The brother though... She did love the brother. Lilith hadn't killed Virginia Fremont's mommy or daddy dearest so she could not kill this one, for Sandy. Hm. "Yeah, screw dad. I know, I know you do kiddo and I love you for that. God, look at you. You're getting so big... Don't tell me, you just turned 35, right? Is that a five o'clock shadow I see?" Wide grin, light laugh. What girl didn't love to play dress-up? Play pretend. "I know, I was being stupid. I was... I don't know. You know me, I never think before I do and I was going to call, I was. We're here now though, right? You and me," he squeezed her shoulder and Lilith's smile tightened briefly before she quickly feigned confusion. Yes, yes she had heard. But Sandy? Ugh. Annoying. "I... What do you mean? What- What about to mom? Peter, what- Tell me."

At the mention of her birth name, Bela’s eyes lifted from the baby to look at the woman. She had never met her, and there was no way she could have either considering it had been sixteen years since she was topside; unless she hadn’t met her topside.
“Guess we can’t always get what we want. Well… I can, but that’s unfortunate for you.” Definitely a demon, but who? There were so many down there and so little that had left a lasting impression. Crowley hadn’t given a damn about her once she was down there and she knew that Meg was still in the vessel she’d died in. This wasn’t Alastair- no, she would know Alastair in a heartbeat. So many options if she had to take into account who could be brought back from the dead, but her mind kept coming back to one. “How about we cover the introductions before we get to the catch up, yeah?”
All that bravado... Lilith's lips twitched as Bela spoke, blinking slowly as she watched the little wheels and cogs turn in Bela Talbot's head. "Not everything though, hm? I didn't see you wiggle your way out of being puppy chow."
That was mean. Uncalled for even but so was this human in front of her. The inbetween was so... Ugh. Poor little empty vessel, all torn up and broken and yet. Where was her demon? It made her sick to her stomach and the longer she thought about it, the deeper her frown became. Alastair had died- that was the only explanation. Alastair never would have given up. When Bela spoke again however Lilith's smile suddenly returned brighter than ever. She did so love this part. What? Who didn't love a little recognition and attention? "You never want to give until you get do you?" She let out a giggle before adding, "Me neither. We never had the pleasure... Like this. I'm Lilith."
survivcriism:
“I’d love to see you try, really,” she scoffed, her confidence through the roof as she quickly gabbed one from her and took a bite
For a moment, Lilith imagined wrapping her hand around the nearest fork and stabbing it into the other blonde’s palm. That would cause a minor scene and it was...tempting. Instead, she laughed again. “Wow, you really know how to interrupt a girl’s lunch, huh?” Her smile didn’t quite reach her eyes but hinted at playfulness as she held up her hands. “Oh no, not me. I’m a lover not a fighter.”
ofnephilims:
“I’m sorry. Did you just say you were going to kill me over a piece of bread?” Jack leaned over, plucking a piece of bread from the rest. He stuck it in his mouth shortly after, chewing on it. He liked Lilith and he doubted she’d ever harm him for obvious reasons. “Eh. I can’t see how I’d suddenly want to kill someone for this, but more power to you.”
"They put cheese on top of it," she all but gasped as if that offered up enough explanation (it did, it definitely did). She grinned as Jack went ahead and grabbed a piece of the bread anyways, her hand coming to rest over her meatsuit's heart at his words. Her affection had come fast and fierce for Lucifer's son, she was glad to be able to spend time with him. Lilith might have been sporadic in all she did but family was important, wasn't it? "Thank you. They don't have cheese in hell, it's what makes it so...hellish. But what about you, Jack. You must have a favourite food? Oh! Or is it candy? Cotton candy?”
