[ 📿 ]ㅤ.ㅤwhat superstition or ritual do they cling to ?
Braiding hair. Ironically, growing up, Sadie didn't have a natural inclination towards the activity, but Louise had a flair for fashion and loved playing around with different styles, whether that be on herself, her siblings or their parents. While, unlike her sister, you'd be hard pressed to find Sadie wearing much in the way of makeup, she has enjoyed she and Louise's ritual of doing one another's hair, and over the years has continued to find having her hair braided in particular, to be rather soothing.
Bonus work in progress Brin family camping sketch from a while ago, because it’s set when they were kids and Louise was braiding Sadie’s hair in it :)
not gonna lie, my girls louise & marie ( mother & daughter ) might be the sweetest yet are the most fucking dominant women in bed you'll ever meet.
We managed to get Lou into school for the morning today; we have therapy this afternoon.
Hopefully she can get through today alright. She was pretty chatty as she was getting ready.
And Sherlock looks a bit better today. We always knew that even once the intensive treatment was over we were still due for a hard slog.
So your (banner/header/thing) says "Cajun Pride." What about the Creoles?
(( Hello! Thank you for bringing this up! When I made this character, I wanted to be able to have a traceable history to the Louisiana Purchase, as well as the The Great Expulsion before the Seven Years War. It’s hard to create a character that encompasses all ethnicities in Louisiana, so in my mind, a 2P could be the Creole side of Louisiana, much like how 2P America represents non-whites in Hetalia. I hope this answers your question. ))

I read Lou’s blog; I can understand her worries, she’s been putting on a brave face, I think, because she knows she upset Mea when Iona was born and it’s been hard for her that they haven’t seen each other since. We were just all so busy, especially whilst Sherlock was in hospital.
Anyway, I've put her to bed in our room in her favourite nest spot. I'm hoping she stays settled.
Louisiana Headcanon:
The state of Louisiana has no mountains, and hardly any hills. Therefore, Louise is almost flat-chested, and is sometimes mistaken for a young boy.

Below the surface everyone is pretty complicated. Based on your answers, we think the following three traits are important strands in your personality:
TENDERNESS
You are not afraid of the sufferings and sorrows of other people, even when they are acted out in unappealing ways. Beneath even defensiveness and self-righteous behaviour, you know that deep down people need nurturing and consolation. One danger is being naive about people’s dark sides. But at your best you know you can be mean yourself, which helps you to sympathise. You bring strength and forgiveness where other people might panic.
NEEDINESS
Being affirmed and nurtured by others is a central requirement for you to feel safe. This means you can be slow to warm up to other people, which is difficult because what you most need from them is their warmth. Yet you know how to be vulnerable: to let down your defences and accept that you need another person. This lack of pretence is a valuable trait, and ultimately more endearing than the macho efforts others make to deny their childlike sides.
PLAYFULNESS
You are good at seeing what’s funny, at relaxing and finding the pleasure of the moment. Play is random, whimsical, fantasy-driven behaviour which releases internal tension. Because it is detached from some pressures it allows you to act on weirder, perhaps neglected, parts of yourself. The downside is that it is no help in sticking with things that are not much fun but which need to be addressed. So it is well complemented by its opposite, Stoicism.
