Backstory Word Vomit - Perkeo

I stayed up all night last night, and I wound up word-vomiting about Perkeo for his Refsheet page, so I decided to  post it here too. Will  I do it with other characters? Who knows, mainly depends who has more material for me tpo write about. For now, here’s the tale of the tol boi.

(Under a readmore for length and warning for violent scenes with dismemberment and implied body horror.)

Perkeo's start in the demon life began face-to-face with the Patron of Envy himself, Leviathan. He ordered to contort his body to be abnormally tall and have his lips removed and replaced with a fleshy mass to allow an entry for feeding. He was then given the name Perkeo, and was sent off and dumped into the more desolate part of the Invidia District. He was later picked up by a nearby travelling circus, housing other oddities for paying viewers to gawk at. The ringmaster, a demon under the sin of Greed, saw his shambling, palm tree-like stature and saw potential for money-making. He brings Perkeo in and made him go through different challenges to see where Perkeo would lay. Perkeo's flexible body and his ability to fit into some small spaces, he was placed as a contortionist act.

Barely 3 years on the road, they set up the circus in the divide between Invidia and Ira, where it had apparently been issued that a "Holy Danger" was sited from the Ira Military. Ignoring this, the ringmaster allowed the show to go on. After an intermission, Perkeo was ready to perform his act. Something ripped through the tarp of the tent and landed in the ring. Everyone fell silent, until the creature unfurled from the small crater she made in the ground. Her ghostly halo hung above her head, her hair over her face, a sword in hand. Perkeo, being the brave act, bared his teeth at the intruder, towering over her as he approached. Before he was about to make his move, her sword swiped off his lower jaw, detaching it from the skull. Everyone in the tent panicked, as Perkeo suddenly crumpled to the ground, watching as his jaw disintegrates right in front of his eyes, for the blend of corrupt holiness the fallen angel still has takes hold. His eyes felt too heavy to keep open. All he could hear were screams and the sound of bodies thudding on the ground.

Perkeo finally woke up in such an alien place, a hospital ward, where the doctor had spouted on about how lucky he was to be alive after such a brutal attack. He went into detail to Perkeo how, since the attack disintergrated his throat and voice box so severely, he wouldn't be able to talk anymore, however has installed a new lower jaw, made out of a strong, black material similar to the skeletal structure. The ringmaster was nearby, and overheard the doctor talking, coming in and whisking away Perkeo, who was still under a potent painkiller that affected his eyesight (At least for a short while.) The Ringmaster, true to his sin of Greed, wanted to carry the circus on regardless of how many performers he had lost, but after an outcry from the remaining few, he agreed to disband the circus until it's cleared, however, he still wanted to make something out of the performers, so he decided to sell the performers as property to other demons. In no other place than the many rough, unsafe, city streets of the Ira District.

Perkeo endured the streets for 2 weeks, when someone of a high status came by. His horns in a royal purple with the gold stripe spiralling through, his cape covering his body. The ringmaster seemed, for the first time Perkeo had known him, seemed scared of this stranger. Perkeo has no idea, as he noticed that the stranger was glancing at him as the ringmaster was rambling to him. The stranger asked about Perkeo, the ringmaster dismissing him as a coward that he was selling for cheap, to which the stranger shut him up by reminding him of the (Albiet foolish) bravery Perkeo had squaring up to a fallen angel as ruthless as she was, and queried the ringmaster why he even set the show up where there said to be a "Holy Danger" warning. The stranger gave the ringmaster a silent threat with his fangs, saying if he ever sees him again running another circus act, it'll be the end of him. The stranger pardoned the other performers from the now-terrified ringmaster to go free. However, he stopped Perkeo before he could do so, instead offering his house for accommodation, introducing himself as the hell historian rabisu, Waryck Gunner.

New OC Facts in lieu of seeing IT (2017)

- Perkeo sometimes spaces out and when he does, his eyes travel outwards in the opposite direction like how Pennywise does.

- Out of their squad, Kojo is considered "most likely to be a hypocondriac".

- Ollie, Zalika and Virgilio would totally bike up to a lake to have a swim together

- Yarrow is basically Patrick.

Since Perkeo has a slight kink in vampirism thanks to Waryck, Waryck is in the deep end of the odontophile pool and he gets flustured when he sees Perkeo’s teeth (which is a rare occurence since Perkeo is self-conscious about them)   ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

Update on Perkeo!

So, since Waryck is 6ft 7, I decided to find the proper height for Perkeo that matches their height diff and I can reveal that Perkeo is a fucking tol boi  10 ft and 6 in!

★ - Before getting together with Waryck, Perkeo belonged to a travelling circus that had him doing contortions and gymnastics before it got attacked by SOME FALLEN ANGEL. *COUGHCOUGHUZZIAHCOUGH*.

★ - Lompoc and Mendota is part of a very small percentage of hellhounds that can become “anthropomorphic”. In addition, that small percentage is often swarmed by hellhounds under the sin of Lust.

★ - Plumbaa, despite the chopped up name, is not an actual plumber. She’s an assassin for hire for demons twisted enough to send her to the Above to kill innocent people for kicks. The plumber attire is her cover.

★ - Gerard was actually given the OK from Lucifer (Prince of Hell and Patron Demon of Pride) to wear anything else besides feminine clothes, since Lucifer deemed the punishment “unnecessary and disrespectful”. Gerard just continues to wear them to spite Satan (The one that gave Gerard the punishment.) Also, he liked to add “Looking Good In Women’s Clothes” to his overflowing checklist of Smugness.

★ - In terms of sentience and feral, Ziminar blurs the line between the two. Instead of talking and acting civil, he would squark and attack when provoked.
