It has taken Adriel quite a while to feel a sentiment of belonging alongside the scions ; he has felt like such an outsider for the longest time -- considering his background is not as extraordinary as theirs or so he would say.
I'll mostly focus on the ShB crew + Ta//taru because I can.
Adriel & Ta//taru are a menace when it comes to designing the scions new outfits.
With the whole Lahabr//ea episode aside, Than//cred is one person Adriel can easily trust. His bluntness also has a part to play in this.
Adriel admires Y'//shtola's, notably when her vision impairment has done nothing to deter her determination. She's someone he looks up to.
He considered Alphi//naud as a kid with idealistic ambitions and while he may not be wrong, his opinion has shifted to a positive one over time. He's come to respect him and recognizes his growth. Also, he's so very thankful for those times he has saved him from giving speeches. That's Alphi//naud's thing, not so much Adriel's.
He greatly enjoys Ali//saie's company, not to mention they share the same kind of humor. Her compassion for others is something that has tied a connection between the two.
Urian//ger's knowledge decidedly impresses Adriel, even to a point where the latter feels self-conscious about his own. If anything, he's convinced him to pick up a book or two. ( adriel was also quite excited when he learned that urian//ger became an astrologian as he is a healer himself, also that cloak finally got ditched -- )
While the precise details of Ryne's origins still confuse him somewhat, he has grown fond of her -- even a little protective.
