Afternoon oh might Greycloak! (I think that’s the first time anyone’s every referred to me as mighty but I’ll take it haha) Here be the answers you seek!
15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names?
Honestly it depends on the genre/fandom I’m writing for! If it’s something like FFXV then I’ll go through lists upon lists of Latin names and pick one I think suits my character best, in comparison however if it’s an Avengers fic or Overwatch, I’ll generally go with names that I personally like! (I’ve picked names before that are on my lists of possible future baby names)
As for my own novel, considering it’s a fantasy based novel, I’ve chosen names from different parts of the globe - but all of which come from ancient texts/mythologies. For example, one of my characters is named Níðhöggr after the dragon serpent from Norse Mythology!
39) Do you prefer first, second or third person?
Third person all the way. I’m generally awful at writing in first or second, and I honestly struggle at times to read them. I’m not quite sure why but I can’t quite lose myself in something if it’s not in the third person :/ It’s really annoying.
44) What is the last line you wrote?
Grunting Ardyn dropped to one knee, dragging Gilgamesh’s form over his shoulders as much as physically possible, ignoring the burning pain in his side and the way his now blood-soaked clothing clung to his skin.
In case you can’t tell that’s actually a really fun fic full of happy things...I lie. It’s pure angst and I love it.
