Andrew grew up in Nashville, his mother was a music teacher while his father was a firefighter. Middle class was all that Andy had ever known and that was fine with him. A few years after he was born, his little sister was born. He quickly became the protective older brother. His father did play basketball, football and baseball with him.
During school, he did very well and also decided on football and baseball. Football in the fall and baseball in the spring. It helped him stay busy but also slated what friends he would have in both middle school and high school. Which was simple. The popular kids and the jocks. But Andy tried his best to be nice to everyone that he came in contact with.
It was high school that everything seemed to change, not only was he popular but he started to date Damaris Phillips, the two were pretty much inseparable. She ended up pregnant, and when he told his parents he was worried at first but they supported them. At the age of sixteen, Damaris gave birth to their first born, a daughter. At the age of eighteen they got married after they graduated.
Staying in Nashville for the next eleven years. But before they decided to move tragedy struck. Caleb, Andrew's father died in a house fire. He was rescuing a family from a burning building and Caleb didn't make it. Andrew felt crushed and he started to not only pull away from his family but his wife as well.
That was when they decided to move, Andrew agreed. Moving to Palmer for a fresh start. But the memories and such were still there, plus he took a job at the fire station. Following right in his father's footsteps. Andrew also started drinking a little bit more than what he should. He was still distant from his wife as much as he doesn't want to be. He wants to fix things and be the man she fell in love with again and be the father that he knows he can be. He just doesn't know how to pick himself back up at the moment but he's trying.
