Zero - he is the carrier, arguably the originator, of the Zero Virus.

I’m going to do them all (the canon ones, anyway), just ‘cause I can. I’m gunna use my most common ships for each, but that doesn’t mean I’m suddenly not multiship.
Sandman - Given his position, he’d have no choice but to continue doing what he’s always done: Follow orders, but you can bet your ass he has his ear to the ground and he’s reached out to every contact from Langley to Hereford, hoping and praying John is safe–knowing he isn’t, but praying nevertheless.
Cable - Given Wade’s penchant for doing literally that, he’s content waiting. The guy always turns up. Being the world’s most powerful psychic has its advantages… doesn’t mean Nate doesn’t worry, but he’s got a damn good pokerface.
Alba - This actually happened in MI2, but I’ll answer it for Iori, instead, which is slowly becoming my fave ship for Alba. Iori leaves, a lot. He’s got that whole orochi thing going on, so he’s kinda… a wanderer. Alba’s the head of a crime syndicate, so he’s got connections and if he starts worrying, he’ll use ‘em. But he can’t exactly leave Southtown at the drop of a hat.
Mordecai - Wait near the closest New-U station.
Viktor Nikiforov - Panic. Cry. Call the police. Cry some more. Panic some more. Quit skating and anything to do with skating ‘cause it reminds him of Yuuri.
Jet Link (002) - Get mad, get mean, get going. He’d enlist the help of the rest of the zero-zero cyborgs to locate 004 and they’d lend it, no questions asked.
Dirk Gently - Wait for the universe to drop Todd into his lap. Literally.
Piccolo Jr. - Contact Chi-Chi, to find out where Goku is training. Failing that, contact Bulma, to contact Whis, to search the universe–and any other, because by god is he not letting the spoiled Saiyan prince get away.
Cuthbert Allgood - Assume he’s sleeping with Susan Delgado. In all reality, though, he’s a gunslinger. If Cuthbert can’t track that trail, the guy was taken by magic… and that’s not something he cares to try and mess with…
Captain America - I actually don’t have ONE fave for Cap. I’ll just be nebulous… so he’s a commander in SHIELD for the time being and you can bet he’s pressing Fury for whatever info the guy can gather on the individual’s last known whereabouts. He’s terrified inside, but Captain America ALWAYS keeps his shit together. For morale, you see.
Sam Winchester - Give up. Get a dog. Get a girlfriend. Start a new life–oh wait that was season 4. Sam doesn’t like having a s/o so the closest thing he’s got to a steady “relationship” is his only family and lbr, Dean goes poof a LOT. Sam waffles between chasing after him and giving up, letting the dude rest (like that ever works).
Speed Racer - Look, someone kidnaps Trixie, they better be ready for a fight–and prolly a race. Everyone does shit with cars in Speed’s world so, like… explosions and shit.
Zero - Without X there to ground him, Zero would lose his mind a little. Of course their friends would be present to help him search, but the duties of a Maverick Hunter come first and being forced to continue working would see an increased level of senseless brutality in Zero, a la his fight with Sigma in X4.
Ciel Phantomhive - Ciel would employ his entire retinue tirelessly to retrieve Lady Midford. Lizzy is his betrothed and also a very good friend and the queen’s guard dog has no off switch.
Jesse McCree - Yeah good luck taking off with either Shimada brother. Have fun with that.
Vincent Valentine - He’s lost so much, that Vincent really and truly cannot take another hit. I’m an oldschool cid/vince shipper, so say Cid is gone without a trace from his Rocket Town home? Vincent is combing the Planet looking for him, likely with the rest of the crew; that sort of thing is cause for alarm.
Takashi Shirogane - I have many, but for argument’s sake let’s pretend Keith goes missing. Shiro has a decisive nature that is an asset to the team, but he would be hard-pressed to remain calm if it was Keith they were searching for… perhaps he’s getting a taste of his own medicine, since that’s likely how Keith felt searching for him.
Link - One of the many benefits of having a powerful sorcerer as a s/o. He’s always there and always looking for you. Sometimes, it’s difficult to escape. If you wanna go the Zelda route, well we’ve seen Link’s dogged pursuit of her highness, haven’t we?
