who is behind the poeticamente flor?
just a woman called bruna lima, the only creator of all the drawings, products and content of poeticamente flor in social media. there is not a team behind it.
what app do you use to do the drawings?
i don’t use any app. i draw with paper and pen or with my ipad in procreate.
can i use the illustrations to make t-shirts, cell phone jackets, mugs, or any other product?
if we don't have a prior agreement, or i'm not being paid for it, it's not allowed to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute or sell my art. this means that no one other than the artist of the work can paint, embroider, make shirts, change something in the art such as effects, color, remove my signature, among others. it is not allowed to use my art for events, promotions, courses, logos, gifts, among others, even if it is only for personal use. using and appropriating another person's art is a CRIME provided for by Law No. 9,610/98 on Copyright.
can i use your illustrations to make embroidery, paintings...?
no. this is already my job. i make illustrations and then board them in my products. if i allow someone else to do the same i lose my originality. i have the possess the legal and moral rights over my work. i ask you for understanding this.
do you sell your artwork in some store?
yea. i have a website www.poeticamenteflor.com for people in brazil and my drawings are available at www.society6.com/poeticamenteflor where you can buy some products with my arts, however it is an international website. i sell some of my products in my social medias. if you find anywhere else, please don’t buy and let me know so i can stop others from selling my art without permission. the commercialization of peoples arts without authorization is CRIME and i am protected by the law nº 9610/98 of Copyright.
can i tattoo your drawings?
yes, but i ask for a reproduction right contribution of $10 dollars. you're going to pay the tattoo artist, so why not pay the artist who create the art that you liked so much and want to get a tattoo? also, you can't modify my art in any way. this means that no changes in strokes, adjustments or simplifications are allowed. only thing allowed is color application. the tattoo must be basically identical to my artwork. send me an email if you want to get my art tattoed: [email protected]
can i use your drawings to illustrate my text or poetry in my social media?
yes, but only on social media and you must follow some rules:
you need to give me the credits in the image itself, writting "@poeticamenteflor" next to the drawing. it can be under the art, on the side or on top, the important thing is that the credit is in the image, because this prevents the image from circulating on the internet without due credit to me.
you are not allowed to alter my art in any way. this means that i cannot change any strokes, apply effects or colors, or remove my signature. if you like my work, then why would you change it?
you need to tag me in the post and mention in the caption that that illustration is mine.
NOTE: remember that it is not the obligation of any artist to allow the use of their work to illustrate anyone's poetry and texts. this is a kindness i do and not an obligation. so, the least to be done is to comply with the rules i demand, ok?
