Bio: The second daughter of a single mother, Robin’s relationship with both her mom and sister were close ones until Sam, a roboticist, was recruited by the Alterra corporation. Robin, 11 years Sam’s junior, nevertheless has an inkling that a transgov the size of Alterra can only spell disaster for someone as brilliant as Sam. Robin is just entering University to pursue a degree in xenobiology at the time and only wants the best for her genius sister, wanting to work alongside her, but knowing that she, the more free-spirited of the two, would never fit in at a place like Alterra. The two maintain a close relationship, butting heads on and off regarding the Alterra corporation, so much a part of their lives now, until the events on the mysterious 4546B force a ceasing of all communication between them due to Sam’s untimely death. After receiving the news from Lilian Bench, one of Sam’s colleagues (and a far more official, distinctly corporate message of condolence from Alterra itself), Robin, with the last of her sway at the newly Alterra-purchased Xenoworx, “borrows” some of their parent company’s resources to launch a one-woman sortie into the arctic region of 4546B to find out what really happened to Sam.
Appearance: Tall, with a lithe, slender physique and dark, braided hair, a blue streak in the left side, following one cornrow and tailing out into one of her braids, Robin has done all she can to stand out in her field, both in her work and her appearance.
Personality: Friendly and outgoing, Robin swears she prefers the company of animals to people, but nevertheless gets along with just about anyone she meets. Inquisitive and intelligent, she is in possession of a wanderer’s spirit and a love of learning that is boundless as the universe is vast.
