How would you describe your character's sense of humor?

Teak's sense of humour shifts depending on who he's with; sometimes he delights in playing up to his image as a vapid, shallow, materialistic fuckboy and spouting absolute nonsense, just to mess with people. If he's with somebody he's not trying to annoy, his sense of humour is broad and playful; he likes memes and referential jokes.

(OOC) What is their worst nightmare?

Teak’s is very simple: being destitute.

Not simply being poor, which would be the easy interpretation since the Middletons are wealthy, but being impoverished to a point of homelessness and complete lack of safety and security. 

He was glad his (young, clueless) parents died because they never provided much of that -- he did a lot of compensating in his childhood to help them keep things together, or make do on his own -- so the idea of returning to that and possibly being even worse-off is absolute nightmare fodder. For a guy with a lot of self-confidence that’s the one thing he worries about not being able to grind and grift his way out of.

ooc: did any fictional characters and / or real life people inspire this character? if so, tell us about them!

OOC: Teak’s callsign is “Green Light”, which is a reference to The Great Gatsby; I wanted to make him that sort of person (minus the romantic entanglement) who considers himself to be self-made despite having had a significant boost up. He constructed himself from scratch, like Gatsby, and adheres to his own mythology, unperturbed by his shady dealings.

Aside from that, he’s basically a mixture of Nate Archibald from Gossip Girl and a less-evolved Sawyer from Lost -- Upper East Side socialite + opportunist.

BEST: A head full of ideas, a chest full of life. Up to something great, smiling, laughing, telling jokes, telling the greatest stories. Caring, motivating and inspiring. Freedom-loving, passionate about life, creative. Helpful, knows how to cheer you up. They don’t run out of energy, they keep going.
