Bio: The Boy, or Number Five, is one of 43 children born at the exact same moment one fateful day and is gifted with the ability to travel through time. Jumping into the future, The Boy is now burdened with the knowledge that the Umbrella Academy is connected, somehow, to an apocalypse. He spends 20 years attempting to prove the theory of reverse time travel, before he can actually do it himself; in this time, he ages normally, regressing back to his 10 y/o self in the process of returning.
Somewhere within the grand stream of time, he is captured and “modified” by the surgeons of the Temps Aeternalis who perform gene therapy upon him (augmenting his own DNA with samples from multiple serial killers), making him the perfect assassin with a 100% success rate. They also teach him how to perform little jumps in time, making him appear to move with incredible speed.
Appearance: a well-dressed, 10-year-old English school boy, occasionally a monocle, dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin
Personality: cynical, jaded, sharp and sardonic, The Boy has earned his stripes many times over, but hasn’t the height, nor the looks to show for it. This irritates him in some aspects, but he will absolutely take advantage of his appearance when the situation calls for it. He is cold, detached, and sometimes downright unkind, perhaps due to his experiences in both past and future.
