Blake soulmate AU. In this universe, children grow to age 18 or so and then stop until they find their soulmate and then they age together. Jean meets Christopher when she’s so young that she assumes she’s aging along with him. It isn’t until he’s dead and gone that she realizes that she hasn’t aged. Lucien, too, marries Mei Lin. Only neither of them start to age during their entire marriage. Lucien’s father has always aged, even after Genevieve died because he had found his soulmate and would not have another all his life. And then Lucien comes home to see his father’s last days. And things go as they do...and then...Jean notices wrinkles...and Lucien finds gray hair in his beard...
Blake/Downton Abbey crossover. 1913. Shortly after marrying his housekeeper, Dr. Lucien Blake gets a telegram from England to tell him that he is the heir to an estate in Yorkshire. The Blakes travel to England and Lucien is a man of the people and suddenly being called My Lord and trying to figure this out, and he gets invited to Downton Abbey. He makes friends with Matthew, thanks to their similar circumstances, but soon bonds with Robert and Jean makes great friends with Cora and it’s all going to be very lovely. And Jean wears a corset. So we’ve got that going for us.
Blake AU where Jean is at her debutante ball at age 18 and Christopher is supposed to be accompanying her but for one reason or another, he doesn’t show up. Jean is humiliated and upset, but then a handsome stranger asks her to dance. He’s a little older, and he looks vaguely familiar but she doesn’t know him. But he’s got beautiful blue eyes and a mop of curly blonde hair and Jean is all heart eyes over her savior as they dance the night away. And then she never sees him again. Until one day. Lucien Blake shows up to his father’s deathbed. And Jean realizes that he’s the one who was at her debutante ball.
