lauramkaye replied to your chat: Me, warned about tattoo itching: Bah, I can deal...
This sounds bad but in my experience it helps if you kind of slap it
Heehee. Everyone keeps telling me this, and yes, it does help! The weirdest of all is I'm getting referred itching. Like, other spots on my arm itch. My OTHER ARM itches. I can scratch those at least, but wtf, body?
Also, seriously, the peeling. EW. Every time I put lotion on I have red and black bits coming off on my fingers.
Basically Chapter 2 of @lauramkaye’s The Great New Jersey Honeypot Debacle of Ought-Nine. (that’s an ao3 link)

This is totally what happened and no one can convince me otherwise. XD

lauramkaye replied to your post: Reese/Fusco - a scene we didn't see during the creepiest part of Harmless Observation. 8) - mr-finch
I really like that at the same time it made me very uncomfortable. I feel that way a LOT in this fandom. :)
The whole fic is uncomfortable. But thank you!
And the show itself really does lend itself to that kind of "I don't know if I'm charmed or upset" thing, doesn't it? Right down to the premise. Because ultimately, it is a fairly upbeat procedural about two social outsiders on a suicide mission where they spy on unsuspecting people and dole out justice as they see fit. But look, everyone loves each other and there's a puppy! My head hurts.

I love the icicle speech balloon. Is that Jan?
That IS Jan! Currently the Chairperson of the Avengers, and taking NO END of shit about it from Hercules.
(What the fuck even, you guys, seriously, Hercules is an asshole. At least Namor's an interesting asshole, Hercules is just a meathead. He's the fratboy in the Avengers study group who always shows up late and wants to know why you can't take a joke.)

Four fried chickens and a coke. And an order of dry white toast.
"How much for the weemin?"
this-girl-is replied to your post:
Oh, you misunderstand. We (the company I work for) received just such a thing. In an actual professional capacity. It actually beat out the pink (yes, pink) Comic Sans, a woman I worked with used, which I didn’t actually think could be done
No no, I totally believed it was a thing that happened! Just, like, that is SO CRUEL on one's eyes.
theodinspire replied to your post:
Dyslexic people often find Comic Sans easier to read than standard fonts
I've been hearing that! I wonder why. Presumably it's something to do with it being sans-serif? Although in that case you'd think Calibri would be dyslexia-friendly too. Hm, interesting.
