SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE ANTHRO BUG POLL 2025!!!
It's that time of the year again, folks! The Anthro Bug Poll will be open for submissions until the end of January, as per usual! For the uninitiated, this poll is intended as a celebration of anthropomorphic bug aesthetics. It's kind of a popularity contest, but I highly encourage voting on each match based on aesthetic preferences, too. I'll be accepting submissions in my ask box, direct messages, or replies to this very post! You can submit as many characters as you'd like, so long as they meet the following criteria: 1. Must not be a Hollow Knight character or Waspinator. Out of a respect for these past winners, they may not be submitted again. 2. Characters must be at least partially exoskeletal/bug-like. For instance, Mantis from Guardians of the Galaxy would not be acceptable for this poll, but The Bog King from Strange Magic is. 3. Must display anthropomorphic behavior. "Buddy" from the game Webbed looks like a real jumping spider with no physically anthropomorphic traits, but she lives in a world where bugs communicate and interact in a very human-like manner. Therefore, she is an acceptable candidate. This time I am restricting the number of contestant slots! The Top 30 most submitted characters will be participating in this tournament. In the event of a tie, I will consider it a matter of "first come, first served". Note that I will pick the highest submitted candidate per series, as well. I will only accept the most submitted pokemon rather than letting half of the tournament be bloated with pokemon, for example.
